Addressing Upcoming Changes at eWrestlingNews

Dear Readers, I know some of you have been frustrated recently from the lack activity in the forum at eWrestlingNews. I want to take a moment to address the upcoming changes and what to expect.

I want to assure you that all of the major concerns are being actively addressed. As of December 2nd we have officially started our development of eWN V2.0. This is the biggest improvement and leap we’ve ever attempted to make. We are testing out new ideas for the community and creating a completely custom backend with some of the best and brightest in the tech industry. While this is a bit later than we had originally planned (October), our new date is a much more solid and realistic goal to bring eWN back on track the way its intended to be. I promise you will be impressed.

Here are some of our new staff in charge of our software engineering:

Monji Dolon comes from the Silicon Valley startup scene and joined eWN full-time in Oct. He is working as the Chief Technology Officer for eWN and has built an amazing team for development.

Chris DiMartino is a senior software developer who’s worked at The NY Times, Aviation Software and InfoGroup. He has a breadth of knowledge on building and scaling and is our lead developer. Chris’ work at the NYTimes handled the traffic load for the record breaking traffic during the Obama Election, and he was also played a key role in the NYTimes paywall implementation.

Billy Clark has over four years of experience in development. He has worked on his own startup in the past and contracted with some bigger web properties like Flavorpill Media. He brings to the team a wide range of skills in both back-end and front-end.

Sandip Trivedi a former front-end engineer from the prestigious startup accelerator program in NYC, General Assembly. He’s been coding for over five years and is working in development for the features for the site.

To many of you this tech jargon may not mean much. To me, this has been the most progress we’ve made behind the scenes… ever.

So please stick with us a just a little longer as we go through this transitional stage, I assure you that by the end of Jan, you will see a fresh, new, multi-functional eWrestlingNews that you’ve never imagined to be possible. You can hold us accountable, we will deliver.

Change takes time and we are on our way to a new community together.

Thanks for your loyalty!

You can keep up with our updates on our blog!
