Aroluxe Marketing: Is This the End of TNA?

The news started last week with TNA moving from their corporate headquarters at Cummings Station over to their ShopTNA warehouse. First reported was that they willingly moved to save on costs. Then that spawned into a Melter report of them being evicted. Now, what find interesting about this potential is, in Nashville, the proceedings for all commercial evictions have to go through a pretty lengthy process which begins with the landlord obtaining what’s called an FED from the circuit court. The sheriff has to serve the tenant with the FED. Then the tenant has a certain amount of time before the landlord can take it to a judge. Several days later, judgement is made. The tanant can contest the judgement and be given an additional 10 days before the property owner decides to move forward with a physical eviction. Basically, it’s a process that typically takes over a month or two. A detail Meltzer either forgot to mention, or more likely, his eviction story is more of his typical fantasy reporting. This type of reporting by Meltzer is amateurish since his audience would never question such a thing. Sorry Dave, but an eviction is not likely. If they were evicted, why did you know about it in February? Meltzer Myth debunked.

Now that I got that out of the way, I’m not defending TNA here. This is terrible news if it’s true. Obviously, we don’t know all the answers. It could be more Meltzer Mythology, but the fact that they moved their corporate operations away from their headquarters and into the ShopTNA warehouse, things are not good. No wonder Bobby Roode and Eric Young asked to be released from their contracts. More on these reports, is that Panda has distanced themselves from TNA for several years now. I personally don’t believe that part of it, because TNA hasn’t done anything to make money for the last couple years so if Panda wasn’t funding it, how did they sustain?

And now we have Aroluxe Marketing. A firm, in which the Harris brothers are a part of, is looking to gain control of TNA. Apparently, they’ve been paying for the TV tapings and TNA would reimburse them. If they can’t, Aroluxe would gain controlling interest. Now obviously, that sounds just a little too cut and dry. So now it’s time to speculate. This story leaves many questions unanswered. But no scenario looks promising for Dixe Carter and TNA. What is Aroluxe’s motivation here? Let’s look at the scenarios.

SCENARIO 1

Aroluxe is the financier for TNA. They will finance the company, and leave everyone in place to run it, essentially making them the new Panda Energy, but obviously on a much smaller scale. But they want controlling interest so if they don’t like the direction Dixie and company are taking it, they can eliminate her and appoint someone else. That doesn’t sound too bad, right? Except who would they appoint? Who is Aroluxe Marketing affiliated with? That we don’t know. Maybe something more will come to light.

SCENARIO 2

Aroluxe is offering short-term funding as well as marketing services to help TNA get back on the right track. This seems unlikely, but possible. To look at it optimistically, that could be Aroluxe’s role in this as Venture Capitalists. However, one thing is for certain. Venture Capitalists aren’t very free with their money and don’t take too many high risks. They look for certain ROI. And things don’t look real good for TNA at the moment. So this scenario is more of a hopeful optimistic look at things, though highly unlikely.

SCENARIO 3

Aroluxe is going to gain control of TNA, and turn around and sell it to Vince McMahon for a slight mark up from their initial investment. And I sigh at this because I can certainly see it happening. Again, Venture Capitalists are all about the ROI. The only thing I fear is, this is an inside job orchestrated by the WWE. If that happens, well, that’s the way the cookie crumbles I guess.

These are the three scenarios I can see at this point. Scenarios one and three seem like the two most likely to come to fruition. Scenario two is a pipe dream. So, now that there’s a new player in the game, one with questionable motives, does this spell the end of TNA? Has it finally died after the consistent decline over the last few years? I fear the worst. But for the time being, as long as it’s on my TV on Tuesday nights, I’ll just sit back and enjoy while it lasts.

Thanks for reading everyone. Be Safe.
