Bold Predictions For SummerSlam: The 2015 Edition

The WWE invades the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York on Sunday, August 23rd, 2015 for the 28th installment of SummerSlam. With Brock Lesnar-Undertaker and John Cena-Seth Rollins headlining the “Biggest Party of the Summer,” look for some exciting swerves and surprises along the way.

And so without further delay, here are some of my predictions that will happen at SummerSlam:

Dean Ambrose will turn heel, setting up a Ambrose-Reigns feud.

It seems as if though the relationship between former Shield brethren Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose has been a little quaint in recent weeks as evidence during last week’s sit-down interview with Michael Cole.

With the WWE lacking credible heels as well as WWE Officials having a renewed faith in Bray Wyatt and Luke Harper, look for the Lunatic Fringe to betray the Big Dog, setting up an intense feud heading into Night of Champions.

The Rock will make an appearance.

Speaking of Reigns, when he was asked about his cousin The Rock making an appearance at SummerSlam, he replied, “I wanna tell you, but I don’t want to give anything away.”

With SummerSlam being one of the WWE’s biggest PPVs behind WrestleMania, don’t be surprised to see the People’s Champion cutting another memorable promo.

John Cena will defeat Seth Rollins, but…

With John Cena facing Seth Rollins for a “Winner Take All” match at SummerSlam, the odds will definitely be in Cena’s favor as he is a huge favorite to defeat Rollins.

However, I could see a scenario which could very well see several factors preventing Cena from winning the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. One, we could see the return of Kane as he could cost Cena the victory. But the most likely outcome is Sheamus attacking Cena with his MITB briefcase. But don’t worry, Cena fans. Cena will win the WWE title at Night of Champions.

Undertaker will defeat Brock Lesnar.

Ever since Brock Lesnar did the unthinkable at WrestleMania XXX in which he put the one in 21-1, the Phenom has been contemplating revenge for his WrestleMania XXX loss as he made his return to WWE TV on the Battleground PPV where he attacked Lesnar during Lesnar’s match against Rollins.

Look for the Deadman to get his comeuppance at SummerSlam where he defeats the Beast Incarnate.
