Bold Predictions for WWE Money In The Bank

TRENDING

The WWE heads to the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts for the fifth annual Money In The Bank pay-per-view on Sunday, June 29th, 2014.

Considered to be one of the WWE’s biggest “Non Big 4” pay-per-views, Money In The Bank has been one of the most popular pay-per-views due to the popularity of the Money In The Bank ladder match, where the winner gets a future WWE Championship match.

And so without further delay, here are my bold predictions for Money In The Bank:

Brock Lesnar Will Return At The Money In The Bank Pay-Per-View.

The man who ended The Undertaker’s WrestleMania win streak will no doubt make his return at the Money In The Bank pay-per-view. But, don’t expect him to compete as he and Paul Heyman will cut a lengthy promo on facing the winner of the WWE Championship match at SummerSlam on Sunday, August 17th, 2014 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.

No Filler Matches.

Although the Rhodes Brothers vs. Ryback & Curtis Axel, Rusev vs. Big E, and Layla vs. Summer Rae are rumored to take place at the Money In The Bank pay-per-view, it doesn’t necessarily mean that they will actually happen. Even though only four matches have been announced, keep in mind that the WWE Championship match and the Money In The Bank ladder match are expected to get plenty of time. Also, don’t be surprised that the Usos vs. Erick Rowan & Luke Harper will be given some time as well. It’s a surprisingly stacked card and with the Lesnar & Heyman segment, look for these matches to take place the following night on Monday Night RAW instead.

The Funkadactyls Will Split Up.

Tension has been mounting for Brodus Clay’s former dancers Cameron and Naomi in the last several weeks heading into the Money In The Bank pay-per-view . With Paige expected to retain the Divas Championship, expect the former BFFs to get much of the attention in the coming weeks.

Seth Rollins Will Win The Money In The Bank Briefcase.

With rumored favorite Bad News Barrett possibly out with a shoulder injury, look for Seth Rollins to toss Dean Ambrose off the ladder to retrieve the briefcase, setting up this intense feud between the former Shield teammates.

John Cena Will Win The WWE Championship.

Yes, I know. There are several people who dislike John Cena for some reason, but with the WWE reportedly in an economic pickle as of late, the logical choice is to have Cena win the WWE Championship as reported earlier.

A potential John Cena vs. Brock Lesnar match for the WWE Championship at SummerSlam could be just what the WWE needs in order to sell tickets and boost PPV buyrates and WWE Network subscribers in the very near future.
