Cesaro recently spoke with the Herald-Dispatch newspaper to promote the July 3rd WWE live event at the Big Sandy Superstore Arena in West Virginia. During the interview, Cesaro explained that he felt depressed at WrestleMania in Dallas, Texas at AT&T Stadium earlier this year because he was not competing at the event due to an injury.

“You always want to be back as soon as possible. I did all I could, but it wasn’t feasible. It was an amazing show. I sat in the skybox depressed. I wanted to be 100 percent. The fan support was great. They help you through so much with their support.”

Cesaro also said that he still has sights set on the Intercontinental Title, which is currently held by The Miz.

“My goal right now is the Intercontinental. Miz has it. I want it back. I’ll be a fighting champion.”
