Could Team Cena Vs. Team Authority End In A Shocking Swerve?

For the first time in months, Vince McMahon made his return on RAW and announced that if Team Authority loses its match against Team Cena at the Survivor Series pay-per-view on Sunday, November 23rd, 2014 at one of the biggest drawing arenas in WWE History, St. Louis’ Scottrade Center, then The Authority would lose its booking power.

With a team led by one of the most winningest Superstars in WWE history in John Cena, you would expect Team Cena to emerge victorious, right?

Well, not so fast. For one, The Authority, led by real-life couple Triple H and Stephanie McMahon, have the biggest support from WWE Management as well as Vince McMahon, himself. And second, The Authority has a very good track record when it comes to ultimate betrayal as we have seen in recent months by Seth Rollins and Nikki Bella.

And so without further delay, let’s dissect some possible members for Team Cena to analyze which member of Team Cena who’s likely to turn on his teammates to side with Team Authority.

Dolph Ziggler

The current Intercontinental Champion in my opinion has been becoming very stale as a babyface as of late. Months of stop-and-start pushes have apparently derailed the “Show-Off” and during an in-ring segment, he was ridiculed by Triple H prior to his title defense by Seth Rollins. Could Ziggler return to the dark side?

Randy Orton

In the last few weeks, Orton has become very jealous of Rollins as The Authority’s so-called “Face of the WWE,” and has let his anger explode last week on RAW when he RKO’d Rollins right in front of The Authority. But then again, stranger things have happened.

Vince McMahon

Could Vince McMahon’s announcement be a ruse for Vince to side with Triple H and Stephanie McMahon? It’s very possible, considering that Vince is very best as a heel during his days as the leader of The Corporation. By having Vince side with his son-and-law and daughter, Vince being the evil ruler of the WWE should be “best for business” as well as a way that could help rejuvenate an ailing WWE.
