Ezekiel Jackson’s Agent Claims That He’s Not Retiring From Pro Wrestling

We reported back on October 18th that former WWE star Ezekiel Jackson told wXm officials in Germany that his match last Sunday would be his last match in pro wrestling.

Jackson’s agent, Bill Behrens, issued the following statement denying that Jackson has retired from professional wrestling.

Big Ryck/Big Zeke (WWE’s Ezekiel Jackson) did not wrestle his last match at a recent wXw show in Germany, nor retire from wrestling regardless of the various Internet reports to the contrary. His Wikipedia page was even incorrectly updated to note his “retirement”. The only source for this info was from within the wXw promotion, and not Rycklon Stevens, who never confirmed the retirement to any Internet reporter.

He is still available for bookings and now flies out of San Francisco.

He joined WWE in 2007 and worked on the ECW brand early on in his time in the company. He suffered several injuries once he was moved over to the SmackDown brand once the ECW brand was shut down and replaced with NXT.

He was released from WWE in 2014, which led him to appear on a couple of TNA shows and then appeared on season one of Lucha Underground.
