Get me an armchair and let’s book it!: How I would book “MR. MITB” Sheamus
Man, I was disgruntled when Sheamus won the MITB ladder match. Honestly, I was pulling for Randy Orton to win the briefcase as I see so much “golden booking” as I call it there. Unfortunately, us as fans are at odds on how we could perceive this, or even get excited for Sheamus winning the MITB contract. But, I as a fan, a disgruntled fan like most of you, will try and see the positive side in this storyline, as I perceive it as and work to built some kind of excitement.
Sheamus will be on my Television screen for the next few months, with the arrogant heel attitude that cowardly needs help winning matches. Let’s throw a swerve ball at the fans shall we, and have Sheamus not need help in his matches. Right now, he is teaming with Kane to take on Orton and Ambrose, and I am perfectly fine with that. After this dreaded rivalry, let’s have Sheamus embark in beating teams, single handily. For the next few weeks, he will demolish these teams and often cheat my using his briefcase to win matches. With this resurrection of the Tag Team division, let’s have Sheamus win the tag titles single handily and beat the PTP to a pulp. Yes, ladies and jets the Authority, the conniving Authority needs to get involved. They would tell Sheamus that he needs a Tag partner to hold on to the titles, and he picks none other than the big red monster, Kane! Kane and Sheamus dominate the division, but friction is caused in the latter months after Kane gets jealous that Sheamus has something that he doesn’t, a guaranteed WWE championship! They lose the Tag Titles to the up and coming VandervaullIians, and thus embark on a rivalry.
Let’s freeze frame on what I did there. I gave an up and coming team, straps after dominating the division and I made a rivalry for two irrelevant superstars. The key to this is to push superstars, not to big but at a careful amount, so they won’t flop. Okay, getting back to the topic, Kane beats Sheamus cleanly, and this would lead to a career vs briefcase match at Wrestlemania 32. Guys, listen Kane needs to retire and this is the perfect way of doing it, as Sheamus reminds me of a young Kane. While Sheamus wins the match with Kane’s signature choke slam, which he adopts in his arsenal. Kane, relieves himself and disappears in the darkness, the same night that Undertaker and Sting retire. For the next few years, you have three candid names to headline the WWE Hall of Fame, problem solved. For Sheamus, he will cash in the next night , in a rowdy Texas crowd, and beats the champion and starts a rivalry with whomever that might be.
For Sheamus, it is key that he keeps the precedent of having a long duration with the briefcase. Although it will be a long time, he will gain momentum with his rivalry with Kane and decanting the Tag Team division. Well, jets let’s see what you guys think.
