Hell in a Cell: because The Universe doesn’t deserve to have a great pay-per-view

This past week it was
announced that John Cena would face Dean Ambrose in a No Holds Barred; contract
on a pole match, with winner getting an opportunity to face Seth Rollins night
inside the giant cell. The loser probably has to face Randy Orton (as per the
local advertising). If anything this resembles Daniel Bryan’s struggle at
Wrestlemania 30. The only big difference here is that the winner of
Wrestlemania match between Bryan and Triple H would have made the main event
match a big success. However with Cena vs. Ambrose, everyone loses by the end
of the show, especially the fans. If by chance WWE pulls a Bray Wyatt on Dean
Ambrose, we get Cena vs. Seth Rollins that would be a great match but no one
really wants it to begin with. Dean Ambrose vs. Seth Rollins II has been
anticipated since one of the best Lumberjack match in WWE History ended in a
fishy way. To top that up, the famous cinder block curb stomp made Ambrose a
bigger baby face without even having to show his face for 3 weeks. Sadly it’s
John Cena and his “revenge” is a bigger storyline for WWE than
authority’s attempted murder on Ambrose complete with a eulogy and everything.
If that isn’t enough to convince you, the raw after Night of Champions, Orton
was scheduled to face Ambrose but in a few hours it was changed to Orton vs
Cena for no given reason. Maybe it was done so to have Orton and Ambrose face
off at Hell in a Cell instead, which would be a great match if it eventually
happens. However fans get something that they don’t really want. Cena and Orton
should have never been a big part of Ambrose vs. Rollins feud and even though
they sell more than former shield members the storyline didn’t need anything
more to make it better. Just because the top 2 are not doing anything fans end
up waiting a month or 2 for what they want to see. It just shows the lack of
confidence Vince has and doesn’t portray either of them as main-eventers when
they stand in comparison. Remember when CM Punk was the WWE champion and still
couldn’t main event just because a match? How pissed was the IWC for lack of
trust in him even after he was planned to be the longest reigning champion of
modern times. At the end of the day if Cena wins over Rollins for any god damn
reason he gets the heat for burying 2 Future stars on the same night. Even if he loses to
Rollins, Cena still gets the heat for defeating Ambrose irrespective if it’s
clean or dirty! On the contrary, if Dean Ambrose wins his match against Cena,
fans get a match that they so badly want and likely deserve after so many horrible
episodes of Raw. But it has a down side. Since the loser has to face Orton,
fans get Cena vs. Orton for the 4th time in 11 months. Even though at royal
rumble the match was for the championship people were chanting for Divas and
Showed WWE how overplayed their ideal main event was. If it happens again fans
are going to take it on themselves to remind Vince of the exact same thing and you can
expect the match to be 15-20 minutes at least so… brace yourself! Eva Marie
chants are coming! Worst case scenario, Cena vs. Orton is the closing match.
Even though unlikely, WWE might do that if they have something big planned for
either. So whoever wins the match for the contract it’s not a win-win for fans.
If Cena wins we get 2 great matches but if Ambrose wins fans get 1 extremely
overplayed but also 1 awesome match. Or maybe we get a triple threat or a fatal
4 way match but without a championship at stake it makes no sense given that
Rollins is the prize here and 4 weeks dedicated to it shouldn’t end up in
anything but a one on one match. Hence the forced addition of Randy Orton to
the current PPV card will give us something to worry about till the show ends.
If WWE wanted fans to hold on to their seats like they did at wrestlemania, fans won’t be
cheering for the top baby face. Focus this time will be on him not ruining
Ambrose vs. Rollins, which is undoubtedly the biggest feud of the summer
