Looking at a Wrestlemania XXX Fantasy Card

This Sunday will be the Super Bowl of Wrestling. Live from New Orleans Louisiana will be the 30th anniversary of WrestleMania. Talent, Alumni, and Fans from all over the world will be in town for the epic event. But, with all the hype surrounding the big PPV, everyone is going to have their picks. So, to be different, I’m going to give my fantasy card for the event, with the reasoning behind each match, and how I’d book it following. So, let’s take a look, shall we?

-Pre Show-

Dolph Ziggler Vs The Miz

-Both men claim to be the best from Cleveland. While Dolph went to Kent State to achieve great success as an Amateur Wrestler, The Miz went to reality TV, and found his spotlight that way. Dolph Ziggler went on an Episode of MizTV, and told Miz how he wasn’t really talented to begin with, and the reason he won the title was because no one wanted to bash his “Reality Boy face” . Infuriating Miz, he tells Ziggler that he wants to face him one on one at ‘Mania.

-Main Card-

Divas Match (For the Divas Title)

AJ Lee VS Tamina

-The story here would be that Tamina would be costing AJ her matches unintentionally. AJ Would be competing against say The Bellas and Tamina would try to distract the ref. But, instead of using the distraction to her advantage, The Bellas would use Twin Magic, and get the 3 count. It would then boil down to the RAW after Royal Rumble, where AJ would shove Tamina, and then the following week, the two would get into a catfight of sorts. From there, it would be various matches such as Tag Matches, Mixed Tags, etc. Then on the second to last RAW from ‘Mania, It would be announced that the two would face off for the Title.

Winner: Tamina

Big E Vs Mark Henry (Tables Match for the Intercontinental Title)

-For this matchup, it would pit The Worlds Strongest Man against the Upcomer. I would want this feud to be very physical. Given the fact that Henry is at the point to where it’s hard for him to have an extremely physical match due to previous injuries, I’d save his energy for ‘Mania. It would start with Big E. eliminating Henry from the Royal Rumble, and then Henry going on a rampage, using a chair on Big E. Then, he would enter the ring and clothesline him out of the squared circle, yelling “That’s What I Do”. But, Big E. says on RAW: “Mark…What do you do? Get hurt all the time? Choke when the spotlights on you?,” that sorta thing. Henry would then get infuriated, and continuously bash Big E. But, on the RAW after Elimination Chamber, Henry puts Big E. through a table, and steals the IC title. After weeks of nothing from either end, Henry is in a match against Cody Rhodes. Well, a now recovered Big E. goes after Mark Henry and puts him through a table. That sets up their match.

Winner: Big E.

New Age Outlaws VS Uso’s VS The Brotherhood VS The Real Americans (Tag Titles)

-This one is kind of tricky for me to really book, but nevertheless, I like it. On RAW, there’s a Tag Team tournament with the winner getting a Tag Title shot at Wrestlemania 30. Going in, the Outlaws are the Champs. Well, the finals at Elimination Chamber are The Uso’s against The Brotherhood. In the match, The Uso’s get the clean win. But, afterwards The Real Americans (Who lost to The Uso’s prior) will come in and attack them. The next night on RAW, the Real Americans demand to be in the match, and say they’ll wreak havoc on RAW until they’re in the match. Maddox books them against The Outlaws, causing Uso’s upset. But, The Brotherhood also complain that there is no structure anymore, since Maddox is allowing anyone to enter. The third to last RAW from ‘Mania would see The Outlaws team with The Real Americans against The Uso’s and Brotherhood. But at the end, the match goes crazy, and it’s an all out brawl. Triple H comes out, and says that since Maddox can’t control the show, it’ll be all four teams in one pinfall to a victory Tag Team Fatal 4 Way for the belts.

Winner: The Real Americans

Dean Ambrose VS Alberto Del Rio (US Title)

-This match would see a now Face Ambrose against the Heel Del Rio. ADR would come out on the 2nd RAW after the Rumble, and say that due to the United States Title being defended in Mexico recently, the title should be renamed the Mexican Championship. Ambrose comes out alone, and tells him that he’s not going to change anything of the title, and he needs to worry about his own career, and not any member of The Shield’s. This infuriates Del Rio, allowing him to slap him across the face. On the next Smackdown, Del Rio takes on Roman Reigns in a losing effort. After the match, Del Rio puts Reigns in a Cross Armbar, but Ambrose and Rollins comes to his aid. The following RAW, The Shield team up against Del Rio and RyBaxel in a losing effort. At Elimination Chamber, the teams meet up once more, but this time in a Steel Cage. Afterwards, Del Rio said he’s going to finish what he started, and leave everything at Wrestlemania 30.

Kane and Randy Orton Vs Daniel Bryan (Handicap Match)

After they have their run as Team Hell No, they come to grips that they each need to pursue Singles Careers. This happens, but in 2014, Kane works for Corporate, and screws Daniel Bryan at any shot he gets. Bryan gets one final shot at the then Champion Orton’s title at Elimination Chamber, but gets eliminated by Lesnar. Kane then comes out, and chokeslams him through a table. On the next nights RAW, Bryan faces Orton. But, right when he’s about to win, Kane comes out and says that the reason why he got slammed through the table is because he doesn’t deserve anything he gets in the WWE, and the Board of Directors want Bryan to reconsider his career in WWE before they do it for him. Not backing down, Bryan applies the YES! Lock and wins. However, Kane and Orton continuously beat him down, and announces that at ‘Mania, it would be Orton and Kane vs Daniel Bryan. However, Bryan said he doesn’t need a partner to contain a Monster and a Viper.

Winner: Bryan

Reigns and Rollins VS Rybaxel VS Luke Harper and Eric Rowan

-Pretty much culiminating from the above scenario.

CM Punk VS Brock Lesnar (WWE World Heavyweight Championship)

I know that Punk isn’t really *With* WWE anymore, but hey it’s fun to add him in. The buildup is fairly simple. This starts with Punk being absent from RAW/Smackdown all the way up until Wrestlemania, and Lesnar winning the Elimination Chamber to become Champion. After defeating Randy Orton on RAW in a rematch, Heyman announces that Lesnar is issuing an Open Challenge at Wrestlemania for the title. This shocks the announcers, seeing as how it’s never been done before; The Champion not knowing who is Wrestlemania opponent is. At the event, Punk’s music hits, and the crowd erupts after hearing reports that he was gone. With a smile on his face, Punk comes down, and battles Lesnar.

Winner: CM Punk

The Undertaker Vs John Cena VS Bray Wyatt

-Cena kicks off an episode of RAW, say the 2nd after the Rumble. He says that the Road To Wrestlemania is not only a bumpy one, but filled with potholes. His loss at the Rumble was just a pothole that he couldn’t swerve. He then goes on to say that he’ll win the Elimination Chamber. But, right as Cena gets locked in, the lights go out, and all you hear is the gong. When the lights come on, Cena is nowhere. John gets kidnapped up until the 2nd RAW afterwards. The aforementioned RAW ends with Cena being found by Nikki Bella in a coffin. The coffin reads “Cena Can’t See Me…But He WILL Rest…In…Peace!” Cena comes out, saying that The Streak isn’t even real. It’s something that The Deadman wants people to be afraid of. Cena says that the only one who won’t see anything is Taker, because he’s the one who will Rest In Peace. Just as he says that, Bray comes out with a beaten down Undertaker, with a Sheeps Mask on, laughing hysterically, and said that he was the one who told Cena to Rest In Peace on the coffin. The match is then announced.

Winner: Taker
