Renee Young, Tom Phillips, and Lita are at WWE HQ for the Pre-Show. Greg Hamilton is outside the SSE Arena hyping the show. A recap video package is shown to hype the Apollo Crews – Baron Corbin match.
A video package hyping Bayley vs. Nia Jax is shown. Greg Hamilton tried to interview Samoa Joe backstage, but Joe slammed his door in the face of Hamilton.
Welcome to NXT Takeover: London, Triple H is in the ring and said that he would have to be dead to miss this event after being attacked at TLC. He said that this is NXT! An opening video package is shown.
Singles Match: Asuka vs. Emma
Asuka beat her down early with a series of kicks. Asuka hit a dive off the apron taking out Emma. Back in the ring, Emma hit a drop kick. Emma then hit a knee strike to the face of Asuka. This led to Emma working her over with strikes and trying to wear her down with submissions. Asuka fought back then went for a backslide, but only got 2. Emma connected with a huge clothesline for 2. Emma slapped Asuka, but all it did was to fire her up as she hit a springboard missile dropkick. Asuka hit a drop kick, spinning kicks and several more strikes as she made her comeback. Emma took her down and rolled her up for 2. Asuka with spinning back fists then a running back splash for 2. Asuka missed a splash in the corner, and Emma locked in a rope submission. Emma suplex her into the corner then hit the Emma Sandwich for 2. Asuka popped up and locked in the ankle lock, but Emma kicked her way out of it. Asuka hit a german suplex that popped the crowd. Asuka with a running kick for 2. Asuka went for the Asuka Lock, but Emma pushed Asuka into the referee. Dana Brooke threw her belt into the ring, and Asuka picked it up. The referee thought she used it on Emma. This led to Emma rolling her up for 2. Asuka reversed and locked in the rear-naked choke, but Dana Brooke distracted the referee. He sent her to the back. Asuka hit a wheel kick for the win.
Winner: Asuka.

Big Cass and Enzo Amore did a pre-match promo about how Dash and Dawson wanted a fight then they got one. Enzo said that they’ve been knocked down a lot, but they’ve always gotten back up. Cassady said that he promised to become the NXT Tag Team Champions.
WWE NXT Tag Team Titles Match: Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady vs. Dash and Dawson (c)
Enzo and Dawson started things off by locking up. Dawson with a side headlock then a shoulder block. Dash was tagged in and started to land some big uppercuts. Enzo tripped him then tagged in Big Cass. This led to Cass beating him down in the corner. Enzo was tagged back in and sent Dash shoulder first into the corner. Big Cass was tagged in as the fans were singing. Dawson distracted him, and Dash attacked him from behind. Cass fought back and hit a suplex to Dawson. This led to Dawson rolling out of the ring and Enzo hit a dive over the top rope taking him out. Dash tagged himself in and sent Enzo throat first into the ropes. The tag team champions beat down Enzo until he managed to get the hot tag to Big Cass. He cleaned house on Dawson with a series of big boots. Cass landed a splash in the corner and hit a power slam for 2. Dash attacked Cass, but Cass sent Dash to the floor. Dawson took out the left knee of Cass. Dash got the tag and locked in a leg submission. Cass got to the bottom rope to break the submission. Cass rolled up Dash for 2. Enzo got the hot and hit a splash for a near fall as Dawson pulled him out of the ring. Dawson sent Cass into the ring post. Back in the ring, Dawson tossed Enzo off the top rope and Dash hit a codebreaker while Enzo was in mid-air for the win.
Winners: Dash and Dawson (c)
Singles Match: Apollo Crews vs. Baron Corbin
Corbin goes on the early attack while talking trash. Crews fought back; Corbin rolled out of the ring, and Crews hit a springboard dive taking out the big man. Crews hit a kick to the head of Corbin then a back moonsault for a near fall. Crews went for a slam, but Corbin fought out and hit End of Days for the win.
Winner: Corbin.
WWE NXT Women’s Title Match: Nia Jax vs. Bayley (c)
Bayley went for a quick roll-up, but Jax blocked it and sent her into the corner. Bayley with a series of kicks to Jax then a splash. Jax caught her and threw her across the ring. Bayley fought back with some strikes; she nailed a drop kick to the knee of Jax then a drop kick to Jax’s face. Bayley off the top rope and hit a flying elbow. Bayley locked in a flying triangle choke, but Jax put her on the top rope, but Bayley knocked her off and hit a somersault senton bomb for 2. Bayley shoots off the ropes and right into a samoan drop by Jax for 2. Jax with a splash in the corner. Jax the hit four leg drops for a near fall. Jax put her on the top rope and went for a suplex, but Bayley reversed and locked in a guillotine choke. Jax pushed her off of her. Bayley locked in the choke again and once again Jax pushed her off. Bayley went for it a third time, and Jax tapped out.
Winner: Bayley.
WWE NXT Title Match: Samoa Joe vs. Finn Balor (c)
They exchange strikes to begin the match. Balor dropped kick Joe out of the ring. Balor followed, and Jose sent Balor in the apron followed by a slam. Back in the ring, Joe connected with a clothesline. Back in the ring, Joe hit a big boot but missed a black splash. Joe tossed Balor to the floor then hit a dive. Back in the ring, Joe locked in a submission, but Balor fought out. Balor with an up kick then some chops. Joe landed a back elbow then went to the top rope, but Balor kicked him in the head, which sent Joe to the floor. Balor hit a dive over the top rope taking out Joe. Back in the ring, Balor hit a double foot stomp off the top rope for a near fall. Balor hit a head kick then the Sling Blade. Balor missed a dropkick, and Joe hit a back splash. Balor went for Muscle Buster, but Balor reversed with a roll up for 2. Balor with a head kick Joe with some jabs, Balor fought back with some forearm shots. Joe locked in a sleeper, but Balor sent him head first into the turnbuckle. Joe with a slap then locked in a sleeper, but Balor fought out and hit a double stomp. Balor with the Sling Blade then two drop kicks. Balor hit a third that knocked the big man down. Balor went to the top rope, then hit Coupe De Grace for the win.
Winner: Balor ©.
Balor celebrated in the ring to close the show.
