In my personal opinion, after all these years since WCW closing shop in 2001 and giving this a lot of thought, I would say no. Sting is a legend, even if you’re a fan of him or not, you have to respect him for his years and contribution to the wrestling business. Sting has never been a guy that refused to put a guy over, but now that he is 56 there’s no real point in him wrestling for the WWE; Of course I would have loved to see Sting face Undertaker, even now I think they both could pull out one last epic match. I believe Sting will eventually sign with WWE sometime this year, and I would love to see him end his career on a big stage like Wrestle Mania, but at this point in time I just don’t want to have fans who know him and fans that don’t, to be disappointed with the quality of Sting’s final match. I know he is not what he used to be but Sting is 56 and is still in a lot better shape than some of his peers around the same age, give him credit that he can still get in the ring and go. Really now with Sting and WWE talks I just want him to get his rightful induction into the Hall of Fame, the notoriety he deserves as a wrestling legend and for him to be mentioned, as he deserves, as one of the biggest stars and catalysts of the 90s “Golden Era” of wrestling that we will not probably ever see again.
