Rumors are going wild that the Hall of Famer or should I say WCW legend, TNA World Heavyweight Champion. Sting is coming to the WWE soon. Everyone is trying to see what Sting can do when and when he returns to World Wrestling Entertainment. Rumors have been going around for years about the icon coming to the WWE.
Ever since WCW closed its doors everyone has been speculating about when Sting would make his long-awaited return. Yes I know he was on the TNA roster and yes I know that he was TNA world heavyweight champion on multiple occasions.
The problem is, are you known in WWE, which is on this worldwide stage than TNA is . For most people when you say professional wrestling they ask you what is that. But if you ask, did you see what WWE did the other day? Than everyone knows what WWE, just like if you bring up Hulk Hogan. Everyone knows it by heart.
So when you ask people if they have seen TNA, people ask you what that is? And you then you have to compare it to WWE for them to understand it. What is the difference between TNA and WWE. TNA is not a worldwide phenomenon compared to its counter partner with WWE.
Some people ask hey where has Kurt Angle been? Because they simply do not know what or who TNA is. In the The Attitude Era who had the hard core fans knew who Sting is. It does not matter if you were WCW or WWE fans, some have wondered where Sting has been. That is a problem if you are TNA and trying to grow.

He is going to turn 55 this month and so his in ring ability is decreasing year by year. Everyone thinks that when Sting returns he’s going to get this major pop and everyone in the arena or everyone watching at home is going to recognize sting.
Sorry to tell you that’s a great expectation of huge reaction is not going to be there unfortunately. If he shows up on Raw or Smackdown or any other WWE show he is not going to get the reaction that WWE is looking for. It is a different time in the sports entertainment world. UIt is 2014 and it’s the PG era. Most of the Attitude Era fans have either gone away from the product for good or only back to watch WrestleMania.
Unless he shows up at WrestleMania this year then he will get a pop from the fans. Most likely if he shows up on Raw then he will get a decent reaction, but nothing that you have in your head as an expectation. Realistic is always the key for understanding the good and the bad of life.
