Survivor Series 2015 Predictions

As of this moment, we do not know who will be in a Survivor Series elimination match, despite the PPV being called, you know, Survivor Series. With Seth Rollins’ injury turning things out of whack, WWE had to quickly improvise and I believed they did a good job in a tournament to determine the new WWE Champion. To compensate for the lack of matches, the semi-finals and the finals will both be on the card. So, with that said, allow me to preview the card this Sunday and who you should place your money on. I am not responsible for your money lost, though. So tough luck.

Dolph Ziggler vs. Tyler Breeze

I say that WWE has booked Tyler Breeze awfully since his debut on the main roster, though, I guess I should have expected as much from WWE. First off, WWE’s problem was having him lose to Dean Ambrose in the the tournament cleanly. Tyler Breeze is already being booked like an ordinary mid to low carder instead of someone special coming out of NXT. WWE has also not given the fans any reason to care for him except the fact that he’s an egotistical narcissist. As if we don’t have enough of those on the current roster. However, it’s a safe bet to assume that Breeze will be going over this Sunday. Ziggler has nothing to gain now that he’s out of the tournament and having him go over here would only stall Breeze’s development even further. I don’t think Breeze will amount to anything more than a prominent mid-carder in his WWE career, but you can’t have him lose to Twerk Boy on his first PPV appearance. Especially on a show called Survivor Series,

Winner: Tyler Breeze

Divas Championship: Charlotte (C) vs. Paige

Well, it’s safe to assume that Monday’s main event segment was a calamity. First of all, apparently, Ric Flair wasn’t consulted about it, so that was a reg flag. Second, it must be said that Charlotte is an atrocious speaker. She can’t convey her message to the fans or give a reason to get behind her. But did you know she’s Ric Flair’s daughter? One last thing. Why should we care about this feud? Okay, so Paige FINALLY turned heel once again and attacked Charlotte. And now Charlotte is mad and wants revenge. Same old, same old. I give WWE credit for trying and giving it the main event slot so that people could care about it, but it just ended oh, so wrong. The winner of this match is sort of a challenge though. Charlotte has had only one successful title defense and hasn’t really held the belt for that long. Considering that she was the one who ended Nikki Bella’s long title reign, for her to drop it sort of suddenly kind of takes away from the moment. Whereas Paige has been fighting for the belt all year but never has gotten over the hump. I’m inclined to say Paige goes over here, but I’m not sure WWE is ready to get the belt off of Charlotte yet.

Winner: Charlotte

Kevin Owens vs. Dean Ambrose – WWE Title Semi-Final Match

Dean pinned Owens not too long ago during the Survivor Series match on RAW about three weeks ago. I didn’t really appreciate that. Now sure, the original match for this show was probably going to be them with Owens’s Intercontinental Championship on the line, but now the circumstances has changed. Now, Kevin Owens has been one of the most consistent performers on the roster and has been a good Intercontinental Championship thus far, but his time for the WWE Title, or to even get to the final round, isn’t here yet. While it’s intriguing to see him hold the IC belt and the WWE Title, it’s too early for him. It’s likely that whoever emerges from this PPV victorious will head into WrestleMania as the champion, and I know WWE won’t have him walking down the WrestleMania aisle as champion. Meanwhile Ambrose has feuded with Rollins over the belt this year and has come up short time after time. Him getting a chance back at the title would be the right direction to go in this situation.

Winner: Dean Ambrose

Survivor Series Match

So yea, there isn’t an official match set for this Sunday for some reason, but knowing WWE, you can expect five random faces and five random heels facing off against each other. This will probably incorporate the losers from the tournament perhaps coupled with tag teams not being used. My prediction is that Neville, Kallisto, Cesaro and the Dudley Boyz face off against King Barrett, Sheamus and The New Day. That’s just me anyway. Whoever are the 10 random people being chosen, expect the babyfaces to come out on top. For no other reason other than the fact that this is typical WWE formula. Unless the feud is being built up against, more often than not, the babyface side will win. You can expect that this Sunday.

Winner: Team Babyface

Roman Reigns vs. Alberto Del Rio – WWE-Title Semi-Final Match

Since Del Rio’s shocking return, he’s had some good matches, but he’s also the same bland, uninspiring Del Rio we saw back in 2014 before he was initially fired. I have told a lot of people, if Del Rio talks sparingly on the mic and focuses more on putting on spectacular matches then So far it’s been a cake-walk for Alberto Del Rio in the tournament as he literally stomped through non-serious contenders in Stardust and Kallisto. Now he’s facing the future of the company, and you shouldn’t expect him to win. Roman Reigns, is finally back in the WWE title picture and you can expect him in the final match. The fact of the matter is this is a gross mis-match. Del Rio will not defeat Roman Reigns one on one and he certainly won’t do so here. This is probably the easiest match to predict on the current card.

Winner: Roman Reigns

Kane and Undertaker vs. The Wyatt Family (2 Members)

I’ll tell all of you where WWE messed up here. Kane and Undertaker were in the ring with all four of the Wyatts. They dispatched all four of them with relative ease. Now since that happened, they are only facing 2 members instead of four. So if WWE shows Kane and Undertaker taking care of the entire Wyatt Family, why should we think the Wyatts should have any chance with only 2? As much as I’d like to see the Wyatt Family go over here, I sense that this is somewhat of a farewell tour for the Undertaker. I can’t see him losing, though Bray already lost to Undertaker at WrestleMania. It is another hard match to predict, and I know that WWE could easily just have Kane get pinned and no one would care, but at the 25th anniversary of Survivor Series, I don’t think Undertaker would be allowed to lose.

Winner: Undertaker and Kane

WWE Title Finals: Roman Reigns vs. Dean Ambrosw

For me, the important question is not who wins the belt, but if someone will turn heel. Now, in a straight up one on one scenario, Reigns wins cleanly. Dean Ambrose wins via a heel turn. Ambrose has been climbing his way to the mountain top only to lose at every turn. Reigns is trying to avenge his loss at WrestleMania and recently spurned The Authority’s offer to join them. Now, with all that said, I think I will be disappointed and no one will turn heel. With a certain Irishman looming around with the MITB briefcase, I guess in a way it will be hard to see Sheamus as a heel MITB with a heel champion. I think it is safe to say that not even ISIS can prevent a Roman Reigns WWE Championship victory.

Winner: Roman Reigns

I have all of you with the match ratings immediately after the event, so stay tuned. Until next time.
