The Authority Needs To Disband. Here Are 5 Reasons Why The Authority Is Not Best For Business.

The Authority is back guys. Not that many noticed they were gone anyway, but they’re back, and that’s Bad For Business.

Now don’t get me wrong on this, i appreciate the hard work and dedication they put into the business. I don’t have a problem with Stephanie or Hunter. But the heel stable, The Authority, will make there WWE Raw returns this week having been off screen for the last 2 month or so, and i don’t care for it one bit. This isn’t to say there shouldn’t be any authority at all, of course.

It’s this damned Authority angle that’s dragged on for what seems like decades, they need to be disbanded. Seeing a figure in charge appear week in and week out kind of diminishes the impact of seeing any at all. The main issue I have with them is what’s going on right now is, it’s the same old faces (Show/Kane) who are getting TV time/main-event pushes, at a time when WWE need to create new top stars. Now before i go off on one of my big rants, i’ll just break it down like this.

Here are my 5 main reasons why The Authority angle needs to end.

#5 The lame storylines

Stop the underdog versus The Authority plots. It’s very stale. This formula has become… well, formulaic by now. We’ve seen it a thousand times already. At least in the Austin/McMahon feud, Vince was great at setting himself up to take a fall. HHH’s ego barely allows this. Part of what made the whole thing work so well was that they were constantly trading shots week after week, each trying to get one up on the other.

But you have to remember these two characters had the perfect chemistry. It worked well. These days an authority figure tries to screw over a wrestler one way or another, and more often than not, they succeed. Occasionally, our hero manages to overcome the odds, leaving them stewing for a brief time. Other stars TV Time!

#4 The Authority angle as a whole.

Same again, very stale. This outdated 90’s angle is ruining every other storyline in the WWE. Every other story has to be changed and reset in the wake of the Authority storyline.Triple H taking up the spotlight 30 minutes on every RAW with Stephanie. Every RAW is predictably the same: Segment by wrestler/cena/amborse/whoever.Interruption by Authority. Triple H talking up 9.99 to the sheeps. Second interruption Seth Rollins. Teasing for match.Backstage: Triple H talking to Kane/Show JJ/Seth. Jobbing or doing some damage in the mainevent.Mainevent: Interruption by Show/Kane/Seth. RAW Ends.

Is it any wonder why people are so sick and tired of the Authority angle. WWE are putting all their eggs in one basket, and throwing away a lot of promising storylines and damaging the star potential of a lot of talent.

#3 Why bring them back?

I mean seriously, the angle is virtually dead now, talk about overkill, be done with, it’s just them bullying people (be a star? Nah just bully everyone). When Dolph Ziggler won at survivor series the WWE stock began to rise again, now that the authority is back it’s going to go down again, people should unsubscribe from the WWE Network or don’t get it at all until they end this crap

I was watching some episodes lately because the Authority was finally gone and now they’re back.. Probably won’t be watching the show anymore for a while again because of whatever crappy storyline they come up with next.

#2 They take too much TV time.

The Authority take way too much TV time away from the real stars of the show. It’s the same old faces (Show/Kane) who are getting TV time/main-event pushes. People are obviously pissed off with Triple H and his ego taking the spotlight for 30 minutes on every RAW, with the same segments, time after time.
What do I mean by the same old faces getting TV time/main-event pushes? Well, The Authority are all over WWE’s main-event scene right now, and it will get worse once they’re back this monday,it’s frustrating a lot of people. Why would the heels put their heel cohorts in dangerous situations?

I genuinely don’t understand the reaction that’s supposed to draw from the fans. Are we supposed to boo or cheer? If anyone reading this knows, then feel free to enlighten me. Please! I understand that in order to establish their heel characters, they’ve had to have a lot of TV time invested in them. But it’s too much.

They leech themselves on to any wrestler that becomes super-over or hated with the crowd eg Daniel Bryan, John Cena, Seth Rollins the list is endless. What The Authority needs to do is let these guys shine and stop stealing there spotlight. If not, then something needs to be done and we as fans should unite and do something about it. There have been rumors that Stephanie McMahon herself is pregnant again, or at the very least wants to spend more time with her family and attend to other parts of the company’s business, making the end of The Authority.

And that’s what’s Best For Business!.

#1 Another Corperate babyface.

Vince McMahon should make this happen, with the culmination ending at WrestleMania. He needs to get a corporate babyface, one that represents the WWE Universe, to take on The Authority.

For years, The Authority has been burying guys year upon year, for instance when Triple H screwed over Daniel Bryan out of the title when he gave the leading “goat” of the “Yes Movement” a pedigree giving Orton the win. Or Dolph Zigglers failed pushes. It’s a vicious cycle that brings the fans down.

Having a corporate babyface will even out the playing field in WWE storylines just enough so that other WWE heels are not overlooked and that a legitimate reaction to the action of The Authority is cemented.

The question is which WWE superstar should herald the mantel of The Authority’s greatest threat? My pick would be the great man himself, the one who took out NWO . The man is Sting.
