It’s been a while but the “REAL” Royal Ramble is back on eWrestlingNews. I’ve seen a few people starting to steal my name and that’s cool and all but just know where it came from first. Now this will be a small article as the rest of it is posted here at this link: KMOX in St. Louis. Now, let’s get rambling!
Two weeks ago, the wrestling world lost a legend and an icon. The Ultimate Warrior passed away just three days after being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame and a day after appearing on WWE Monday Night RAW one last time. In retrospect, the speech he gave at RAW now seems eerie: “Every man’s heart one day beats its final beat. His lungs breathe their final breath. And if what that man did in his life, makes the blood pulse through the body of others, and makes them believe in something larger than life, then his essence, his spirit, will be immortalized by the storytellers, by the loyalty, by the memory, of those who honor him and make whatever that did live forever.”
The Ultimate Warrior may have been a loner in the past but seeing how he reconciled with almost the entire WWE makes it even more sad. He was truly a changed man with a big loving heart. He was the first wrestler/celebrity death that actually made me sick to my stomach.
As a child, the Ultimate Warrior was my hero. There will never be another person like him. The Ultimate Warrior is gone but never forgotten and he will live on in the memory and spirit of what he called his fans… the Warriors.
