TNA is in BIG trouble with the recent news of Destination America cancelling the contract and Ring Of Honors new partnership. I truly feel this should be the end for the once great promotion. They have actually been in trouble for a long while now. Dixie Carter told DA they were fiscally good but the proof is in the product and DA’s demands were not met. They have cut pay per views, shows, and called off over-sees arrangements and dumped the stars that made TNA what it was. The bottom line here is that this is a company in trouble and it is more important for Dixie to play wrestling bad girl than give her employees information they need to hear, or give them their formal notices.
Rumors of Destination America cancelling the contract of TNA Wrestling were floating around for several weeks before before the truth came to surface. TNA president Dixie Carter is just the gift that keeps on giving to pro wrestling bloggers but this may be the greatest gift of all.
I am not over exaggerating when I tell you that what Dixie Carter has done to TNA has made Impact Wrestling unbearable to watch. She was so terrible in her role that once you get the past the unintentional humor, it becomes impossible to watch. Knowing now that Dixie is so caught up in her television role that her father lost a television deal over her spot makes it even more pathetic and yet even funnier in a crazy kind of way.
It should also be pointed out here that the company now looks to be in even worse situation after Dixie Carter sent an email (that she was suppose to send to her colleagues) she accidently sent it to a DA’s top executive, it is claimed the memo was filled with hatred directed towards DA, she used words like “dummies” and “they don’t know what they’re doing” which obviously was not taken lightly by DA
There has to be absolutely zero communication between TNA and guys in the locker room and the Carters have nobody to blame but themselves for the mess they’ve found themselves in.
Though TNA’s parent company is Panda Energy, this does not guarantee TNA a new TV channel to broadcast the show on. And i’m sure Bob Carter is a smart guy, he has to be to have made the kind of money he has and invested as much as he has into TNA. However, if they decide to sell up, i wouldn’t expect too many investors that are intrested in the product . To expect a new investor to keep the person who ran the company into the ground in any kind of power position is just mind blowing.
The logical thing to do would be to end all TNA programming for good.
