What To Expect For Money in the Bank?

After a somewhat interesting Payback pay-per-view, the WWE heads to the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts for Money In The Bank on Sunday, June 29th, 2014.

Unlike previous editions of the pay-per-view, only one Money in the Bank ladder match is expected to take place as opposed to two Money in the Bank ladder matches the previous four years.

And so without further delay, here’s what to expect:

Who will be competing for the briefcase?

Throughout the years, many WWE Superstars past and present have competed in the Money in the Bank ladder match in an effort to capture the Money in the Bank briefcase so that he could cash in his briefcase for a chance to win the WWE Championship.

As for who might compete in the Money in the Bank ladder match, the possible Superstars include Cesaro (pictured), Alberto Del Rio, Bad News Barrett, Big E, Bray Wyatt, Rusev, Fandango, Jack Swagger, Sheamus, Big Show, Kofi Kingston, Bo Dallas, and Rob Van Dam.

What’s next for John Cena?

After defeating Bray Wyatt in a Last Man Standing Match at Payback, it looks like John Cena may very well be a victim of “creative has nothing for you.” But then again, Cena is the face of the WWE and expect WWE Creative to come up with a new feud for Cena.

The logical choice would be Kane, since it may very well look like WWE Champion Daniel Bryan may not be ready to compete by then.

Look for Cena and Kane to plant the seeds for their possible feud in the coming days.

Will Evolution continue their quest to end The Shield’s dominance?

After Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose, and Roman Reigns defeated Triple H, Batista, and Randy Orton at Payback, it looks like their feud may very well be over. However, don’t expect the feud to end anytime soon.

Even though Batista is expected to take a leave of absence so that he could promote his upcoming film “The Guardians of the Galaxy,” look for Triple H and Orton to get a replacement for Batista, but who will it be? Find out in the coming days.

What are your Money in the Bank predictions?

    • Spear!

      Cesaro wins the briefcase.

  • Dan K

Why is Bo Dallas a possible candidate? And interesting you didn’t mention Ziggler or Sandow as possibilities.

    • Rachel Miller

The reason that I didn’t include Dolph Ziggler, Damien Sandow, or even Cody Rhodes for that matter is that these men have been booked rather lackluster in recent months. I expect these three men to be left off the card as a result.

      • Dan K

But Bo Dallas? Where did that come from? I would sooner expect to see Adam Rose in it before Bo.

        • The 1 Zack Schloemer

i’d rather see neither bo dallas or adam rose anywhere near money in the bank… both are terrible gimmicks that don’t have much behind them… nobody is a boliever, let’s get real with it, and nobody cares about a wannabe english 90s “rocker” who’s a poor mans axl rose…

Cesaro would be a fantastic MITB winner, But I have a feeling they might try to get Reigns or Dallas to win it.

It’s pretty clear that it’s gonna be either Reigns or Cena …………it’s already being reported that they plan on making Reigns champion at Mania , which is disgusting , this guy is not ready & after burying Bray Cena will be back with the same c rap again .

I hope Seth Rollins wins MITB. If Cena is in the MITB match i will projectile vomit.

Rachel, I really don’t wanna be this guy, but this article was another let down. I’ll try to be constructive here.

    1. The article reads like several combined TV captions for Raw. “How will so and so respond to this and that” etc. SO MUCH FILLER. We don’t need to know every little minute fact of wrestling, most of us frequent this website, assume we know most of these little rumors and facts that you fill your articles with.

    2. The title tells us what to expect at MITB, but you barely explained anything. You rattle off a few predictable names for the MITB match, make a horrible Cena prediction, and a very broad guess for the Evolution/Shield feud.

    3. Repetitiveness: “Looks like creative has nothing left for Cena, but wait, he’s the face of the co., they’ll have something”
“Looks like Shield/ Evolution is done, but wait, it’s not done”.

    4. You are very transparently desperate for material to write. These things are short, they are not editorials, they are brief thoughts being stretched as far as you can stretch them, which isn’t far at all.

    Final thoughts:

You’re writing and grammar is great, you seem to be enthusiastic about doing this, and you even make some good bold predictions. My advice, take your time on these, make them longer and more thoughtful. If you’re going to make an article about what to expect at a ppv, give us your predictions! Who is gonna win the damn briefcase for starters! How will feuds formulate, who will win matches, what will happen to the title?

See what I mean? 3 paragraphs and 3 pictures is not what makes a good author, apply yourself! You can do it! PS, not many people will take time out of their day to do this, so please don’t take this as anything but a friendly gesture.

Money in the Bank could be a way to get the title off Danial Bryan for storyline purposes. If Bryan can’t wrestle until at least Summerslam or longer, the Authority backed, winner of MitB could cash in on a defenseless Bryan. They, they could have a brief run until Bryan is healthy again, then Bryan can take it back.
