What To Expect For The WWE Following WrestleMania XXX

TRENDING

After an emotional WrestleMania XXX which saw Daniel Bryan winning the WWE Championship after months of infighting against Triple H and The Authority, the WWE kickstarts another year as it heads to San Francisco, California for WrestleMania XXXI on Sunday, March 29, 2015.

And so without further delay, here are my predictions between now and WrestleMania XXXI:

TRIPLE H AND VINCE McMAHON FEUD

Ever since Triple H formed The Authority, he, along with Stephanie McMahon, Kane, and to a lesser extent, The Shield and The New Age Outlaws, have been making lives miserable for babyface wrestlers, particularly Bryan, Big Show, and to a lesser extent, Cody Rhodes, Goldust, Dusty Rhodes, Dolph Ziggler, and The Miz.

However now that Bryan is once again the WWE Champion, it looks like somebody may prevent Triple H from once again stripping Bryan of his WWE Championship.

The man’s name: Vincent Kennedy McMahon, Jr.

McMahon is expected to return to TV very shortly perhaps as soon as tonight’s RAW, where The Authority will feel the wrath of the man who built the WWE to what it is today.

Expect this feud to culminate at this year’s SummerSlam.

THE UNDERTAKER WILL FACE BROCK LESNAR AT SUMMERSLAM

The Beast did the unthinkable when he ended The Phenom’s streak at WrestleMania XXX, but it looks like the feud between the two part-timers will heat up the day after WWE Battleground which will result in a match at SummerSlam.

SEVERAL WWE SUPERSTARS WILL BE LEAVING THIS YEAR

The end of WrestleMania traditionally heralds WWE annual “spring cleaning,” where it releases lesser-used Superstars and Divas.

However, Triple H has a “don’t fire anybody” policy which prevents main roster talent from getting released. Instead, look for non-contract renewals, which will result in Vickie Guerrero, JTG, Dolph Ziggler, Ezekiel Jackson, Evan Bourne, Curt Hawkins, Rosa Mendes, and others parting ways.

STING WON’T BE COMING TO THE WWE

I don’t expect to see The Icon to be coming to the WWE anytime soon, due to his part relationship with the WWE over the years. But never say never!

A.J. LEE WILL LOSE THE DIVAS CHAMPIONSHIP BY SUMMERSLAM

A.J. Lee has been Divas Champion since last year’s WWE Payback and has successfully defended the title at last night’s WrestleMania XXX against 13 other Divas.

Expect Lee (as well as most of the Divas) to be left off Extreme Rules, Payback, Money in the Bank, and Battleground PPVs altogether until SummerSlam, at the very least, when she faces Tamina Snuka.

CM PUNK LEAVES THE WWE ALTOGETHER

Tired of playing second fiddle to the likes of John Cena, The Rock, Brock Lesnar, and Undertaker, CM Punk has become disenchanted with the WWE as of late, and it looks like the Voice of the Voiceless will never be seen in the WWE ring again.
