Wrestling Fan’s Predictions- WWE Hell in a Cell 2014

Hi everybody and welcome to the Wrestling Fan’s Predictions for Sunday’s WWE Hell in a Cell PPV. WWE looks to entice the fans to watch this PPV due to the double main event of Randy Orton vs. John Cena and Seth Rollins vs. Dean Ambrose in Hell in a Cell. The other matches on this card probably won’t live up to the quality that these two matches could present, so let’s take a look at the card for this Sunday’s WWE Hell in a Cell PPV.

PRE-SHOW: MizDow TV with Guest The Miz-

A pointless segment here that could have been easily used this past week on SmackDown but yet makes its way to a PPV… atleast it’s only on the pre-show. Expect Sheamus to interupt and attempt to deliver a Brogue Kick to The Miz or Sandow, adding fuel to the fire for their match later on.

United States Championship- Sheamus (c) vs. The Miz w/Damien Mizdow-

I for one at the start wasn’t a fan of the Miz’s gimmick, but it’s really grown on me in the past few weeks, and so has Damien Mizdow! I expect to see a standard match between these men but after having see it all before, I don’t expect to see anything different thrown into Sunday’s match.

My Prediction- Sheamus retains the title

Intercontinental Championship- Dolph Ziggler (c) vs. Cesaro- 2 out of 3 Falls match-

These two men have been having quite the few battles over the past few weeks, and Cesaro has legitimate claim as to why he should be the No. 1 Contender for the IC Belt. Both of these men can go, and for long periods of time too, so the stipulation of this match being 2 out of 3 falls will definitely benefit both men, who love to put on great performances.

My Prediction- Dolph Ziggler retains the title. The reason I say this is that Ziggler has got more potential challengers for his title, maybe like an upcoming Luke Harper or Eric Rowan, who seem to be going solo very soon.

WWE Tag Team Championship- Gold & Stardust (c) vs. The Usos-

Gosh… how many times have we seen this match play out, either in singles matches or 6-man tag team matches?! I loved the initial idea of these two teams getting together, but now it’s been so watered down I just want this feud to end on Sunday. Let’s hope both teams step it up and make a real good tag team match for the viewers to watch this Sunday

My Prediction- Star and Goldust retain their titles.

Brie Bella vs. Nikki Bella- loser must become the winner’s personal assistant; failure to comply will result in the loser being forced to quit WWE-

Another match that I am just not looking forward to this Sunday. I can’t stand the Bella Twins and I don’t see them offering anything great to the future of the WWE at all, unlike Paige or A.J.. The stipulation of the loser being forced to quit if they don’t comply will probably result in Brie losing the match, and then finally taking another break off to start her family with D-Bryan.

My Predicition- Nikki Bella wins the match

Divas Championship- A.J. Lee (c) vs. Paige-

These two divas have fought on the last three WWE PPV’s, and will fight on a fourth this Sunday. This feud has seemed to lost a little steam to it, but nonetheless I love it when these two women get into the ring and wrestle.

My Prediction- A.J. Lee retains the title

Rusev vs. Big Show-

Another big challenge for Rusev here as he tries to take down the World’s Largest Athlete on his way to be the most domination man in all of WWE. However, I don’t see anything particularly special in Rusev and can’t stand him either, just like the Bella Twins. The match these two had on RAW a few weeks ago was okay, so that’s what this match will be on Sunday… just okay.

My Prediction- Rusev wins the match, maybe with some form of interference from Mark Henry

John Cena vs. Randy Orton- No. 1 Contenders Match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship- Hell in a Cell match-

This is being hyped as the FINAL match to the Cena-Orton rivalry, which has dominated WWE Television at times during the last 7 years. These two men have proven they can have good matches together, but on other occasions, their matches don’t seem as good. I would have picked Cena to win this before I heard about the stipulation of the winner facing Brock Lesnar in the future for the title, and with the RKO on Heyman on RAW this past week, I can see definetely see an Orton face turn in the future and him fighting against The Beast Incarnate for the WWE Title, a match I and others would love to see! I for one have enjoyed the Cena/Orton rivalry over the years, but am also glad it’s coming to an end this Sunday at Hell in a Cell.

My Prediction- Orton wins the match

Seth Rollins vs. Dean Ambrose- Hell in a Cell match

The other Hell in a Cell match for this Sunday is Ambrose vs. Rollins… inside Satan’s Structure itself… Hell in a Cell. This feud has been going on ever since Rollins turned his back on his brothers in the Shield, and he has been a rising star ever since… but the same thing can be said about Ambrose. The fans seem to love Ambrose, just like how they loved Jeff Hardy back in 2008-09. He just has this ‘IT’ factor about him like what Jim Ross said on his blog, and I totally believe that. Ambrose will be the shining star coming out of this match Sunday, and I believe he deserves to win this feud and finally get his revenge for what the Authority has done to him week after week after week. This should be a classic match and I just hope that Ambrose’ s crazy character allows for some sort of altercation to take place outside of the cell!

My Prediction- Dean Ambrose wins the match

Well there you have it everyone, my predictions for this Sunday’s WWE Hell in a Cell pay-per-view. This should prove to be a compelling PPV as some of the matches could be show-stealers. i.e. Ambrose and Rollins, whereas others could just fall flat within the WWE Universe.

As always, leave your comments in the comments section below and enjoy watching WWE’ s Hell in a Cell PPV this Sunday.
