​WWE DVD Sales Drop Last Month, Tony Chimel Returns To WWE At Weekend Live Events, & More News

— Tony Chimel was back to ring announcing at this weekend’s WWE house show in Wildwood, New Jersey on Saturday (September 5). Eden performed ring announcing duties for the house show in Charlottesville, Virginia. Dasha Fuentes performed the ring announcing for the NXT events.

— WWE reportedly shipped 137,000 DVD units in July 2015. This was down 25 percent from the 182,000 units shipped in July 2014. In July 2013, WWE shipped 231,000 units, and in July 2012, the company shipped 357,000 units.

— WWE’s biggest DVD seller in the last nine months was WrestleMania 31. The set sold 109,000 units. This is followed by WWE Slam City, which sold 101,000 units. The WWE Attitude Era Vol. 2 set sold 66,000 units. The Rock vs. John Cena: Once in a Lifetime DVD sold 65,000 units. Finally, The Randy Savage Story sold 62,000 units.
