View Full Version : Undertaker vs Kane

The biggest feud on SmackDown this summer/fall has obviously been The Undertaker vs Kane. With Kane getting two wins at Night of Champions and then again at Hell in a Cell with a Paul Bearer heel turn. It is obvious that the end to the feud is going to be an Undertaker win in a Buried Alive Match, but it is how they get to there from now. They have had two matches in the space of two weeks and now with Bragging Rights in 3 weeks, they will have had 3 matches in 5 weeks. One being Hell in a Cell and the other Buried Alive. But here is my take:
On SmackDown this next week, have a beat the clock challenge, with say Kofi getting the overall best time. Then all the other people who won can join Big Show on Team SmackDown.
At Bragging Rights, Undertaker can interfere during the match which leads to a Kane DQ win. Screwy ending, but there are bigger matchs on the card - Barrett vs Orton and Raw vs SmackDown.
This should then lead to the final match at Survivor Sereis between the two in a Buried Alive Match. Because of the gimmick, Kane can take a few months off after the match, perhaps return in the Rumble match (but not win). Because of the gimmick, Kane wouldn't probably use his re-match clause.
However, if they don't go with the Buried Alive Match at Survivor Sereis, but instead go for a Casket Match or an Inferno Match, with Undertaker still winning, then it will continue to TLC with Kane using his rematch. Probably in the Chair or Tables Match. But then it will have probably ran its course.
I think they will end it at Survivor Series with an Undertaker win, then Swagger can face Undertaker at TLC or whatever.
What do you guys all think to my idea? And how would you end it if it was up to you?

Please allow me to give my infinite wisdom on this matter. Lets face the facts, the Undertaker not only looks old but ever since he's been married he seemed (to me at least) to lose a step in his in ring abilities. I believe this is his last year and his last match will be at Wrestlemania. The Buried Alive Match brings in many possible outcomes and I believe all of them have the Undertaker losing this match. It makes perfect sense for people with infinite wisdom. Kane in no way needs time off, i would even go on record that he is still in his prime and for some unknown reason the rasslin lifestyle with all the booze/dope/traveling have seemed not to affect the big red machine like it does so many others. The undertaker is winding down in his career and what better storyline is if he gets buried alive but about two months before Wrestlemania he resurrects from the dead and wins his match against John Cena at Wrestlemania and the streak not only survives but the Undertaker will go down in the HOF as one of if not the best to ever dance in the square circle. U MAD???
this is for my SHOWERHEADS out there. It seems some little kid A.K.A d-bag is using the screen name 1PEEINTHEHSHOWER and is using my picture as well. So Please look closely at the name and remember the real IPEEINTHESHOWER (me) has over 80 post and the impostor 1PEEINTHESHOWER has 3 or 4. They say "Imitation Is The Best Form Of Flattery" but in the end it shows your lack of originally and in some ways its just plain sad. I will end this as i always do, FROM THE STATE CAPITAL TO THE NATIONS CAPITAL TO THE PINEAPPLE TO THE BIG APPLE THERE WILL ONLY BE ONE IPEEINTHESHOWER. WORD!!!!!!!!

I'd watch that!
I would personally like to see this feud continute past Survivor Series. I enjoyed the days when feuds were began in the summer, or even the spring, and ran all the way to Wrestlemania. I certainly do not want to see Undertaker's final feud be a slapdash one between him and Cena. I'm not sure what would bring this feud about, what with them on different shows. And, don't say "move Undertaker to RAW." because they will not do that. There is no reason to move him, and Smackdown needs the big names.

As JR recently stated, he's not sure where all this talk about the Undertaker retiring is coming from. I believe he'd know

The Undertaker Vs. Kane feud is clearly going to come to an end at Survivor Series. Rumors & some reports have it that the Buried Alive Match may if not will happen at Bragging Rights. No matter what The Undertaker is going to lose again against Kane at Bragging Rights & if it's a Buried Alive Match which reports have said it will be. Then The Undertaker will lose that match & take sometime off from then until Survivor Series. The Undertaker will make his return at Survivor Series as the storyline will have it as Kane thinks he's finally destroyed his brother but The Undertaker resurrects at Survivor Series for the be-all-end-all match against the two brothers where more then likely The Undertaker will get his redemption & win to close the storyline.
P.S. The Undertaker is clearly coming to the end of his career & many within WWE know this & many truly believe his last match will be at Wrestlemania where WWE as of right now has plans for a Sheamus Vs. The Undertaker match.
Also, JR has said in previous years about he "didn't know" where all this talk about retiring was coming from (of other superstars in the past). That's B.S. either JR is playing dumb or he's really not that in touch with the business.

The Undertaker has said numerous times that he would keep performing for the WWE until' the day comes that he can no longer rise out of his bed. The Undertaker is one of many legends in all of pro wrestling, and when that day finally comes it can only be assumed that he will have a big send off at Wrestlemania or on a RAW supershow. Hell! He may even silently retire like The Rock did,(and claims to have done.)
Either way, it does not even take a monkey to realize that Undertaker's days in wrestling are almost over.

F.Y.I.: As I searched YouTube for early Undertaker matches I came across a little known fact about the 'Dead Man'. Did anyone know his original name in WWF-E (not Mean Mark in WCW) was Kane the Undertaker??? Do the research....I promise you. I found that to be hella fascinating!! This is just another reason that.....

A bald Masked Kane would just look like failure. And putting the wig back on would be stupid. Thus, Edge wouldn't like it very much.
