I experimented with that back when I ran the prediction contests before Auto, and it turned out nearly impossible to do everything on a spreadsheet in the current way the contest is set out. The formulas either don't exist or would be super complex... and way too many people mess up the basic formatting of the entry form to add information automatically using a macro or whatever. It's actually faster counting everything up by hand.

I suggested back in January that we should create an EWN league at fourdown.org - which is where I used to steal most of the prediction questions and points from anyway - but nobody took me on. It would've made life easier.

FAO Automatic:

You might want to consider switching to a system that looks like this...


John Cena vs. CM Punk
Winner: A: Cena, B: Punk, C: NC
Finish: 1: Pin, 2: Sub, 3: NC

Randy Orton vs. Rey Mysterio
Winner: D: Orton, E: Rey, F: NC
Finish: 1: Pin, 2, sub, 3: NC


...And make everyone fill out an entry card that looks like.....

WAAAAAAIIIIIIT, you proposed for a fourdown.org EWN league? You should've made that more clear I guess. I'm counting out of my head now, as you explained that spreadsheets would be to difficult to use. With the prediction contests growing every month, I think we could better use fourdown from now on, because I've been thinking about this also, or just have a group of let's say 100 guys who sort of sign up for a season, because I have a slightly different contest.
