Red Dwarf RETURNS!!! --- Are You Happy?

I've been a fan of "Red Dwarf" since I've been about 14 years old. There's been 9 Series so far there's only 57 episodes and they've all been fantastic IMO. It was announced yesterday that DAVE (Long time runner of the show) has said Series X is being filmed right around Christmas and that area. They'll be airing next year in the Fall but, I'm just wondering how everyone feels about it coming back.

I know the 3 episodes from last year flopped in some peoples eyes but, not mine. I'm excited as hell personally.

I never like Red Dwarf. My opinion of it was it was for geeks, nerds and uni students - not that there's anything wrong with that group of people, many of my friends are geeks or nerds. And I'm against reunion shows entirely. Imagine if they tried to make another Young Ones series or tried to do another Monty Python movie - it would have fail all over it

I was a massive fan of Red Dwarf when I was a teenager

Its all been downhill since Series 6; it used to be a good blend of slapstick and satire, now its just slapstick. It was originally written by Rob Grant and Doug Naylor, but after Rob Grant left (end of series 6) it was too ridiculous.

I'll probably watch the new series, but I'm not getting my hopes up.
