I've noticed that WWE 12 is the most talked about game on here, and I understand why. Now I haven't gotten the game yet because of the Skyrim. I decided, since I couldn't find another thread on it, to see who else was playing this epic game and to talk about all things Skyrim.

I haven't beaten the main quest line yet, I keep making new characters to try different play styles, so far I have ruled the college, risen to the top of the Companions, Mastered the Thieve's Guild, and Brought the Dark Brotherhood back to it's roots.

The dragon shouts are awesome, but my ADD screwed me on the first playthrough since I didn't bother getting the dragon stone until after the thieve's guild/dark brotherhood quests

also Daedric armor seems like a serious rip off smithing/wise, I mean, there is a limited amount of Ebony (so far I have only found 1 place that has more than 4 pieces) and I haven't gotten to dragon smithing yet (See aforementioned ebony shortage) so I have no idea if they use the dragon bones and dragon scales (Though I will be pissed if they do not)

I went the light armor route in smithing and am at Dragon Armor... yes you use Dragon Scales and Dragon Bones with Iron and Leather to smith them... As for shortage of Ebony, I have an abundance of it. I keep buying it every time I see it in any store (I'm loaded and there is really nothing left to buy so it doesn't hurt.)

Level up a few more times... I didn't start seeing it until level 27 or so (I'm at 37 now). This game takes your level into account when you enter stores and certain dungeons.

LOL i have Uni and Work and i still did that to be far has been out for 4 weeks or so now and i did have flu for a week

And Sneak all the way!!!!!

I've made 3 characters

1st, Silk - Khajiit/Vampire stealth specialist, high level bows, sneak and dual wield (Seriously, the x30 you can get to sneak attacks with daggers is unreal) with a little bit of illusion and alteration thrown in, 50ish smithing, 50ish enchant. Made him first to go through thieves guild and dark brotherhood stuff, then got ADD and wanted a Nord.

2nd, Wulfgar - Nord/Werewolf 2handed weapon specialist, heavy armor, basically a pure melee concept. 90ish smithing 80ish enchanting (1 or 2 shotting dragons with him is awesome stress relief) he is the farthest through the main quest, having gone up to Alduin's Wall, head of The Companions, fully supported The Stormcloaks, and is a Thane of Windhelm

3rd, Kah'lein - High Elf Magic specialist, Archmage of the College of Winterhold

I accidentally saved over Silk, so I am going to remake him, probably the next couple of days (If I can tear myself away from DC Universe Online) because so far, much like in Oblivion, I prefer the stealthy assassin style, with "Big Bad Warrior" coming in a very close 2nd.

Yeah theres alot of wasted space though. Although i dont understand why if your pickpocketing skills are high you can carry more.

Ive only been to Solitude once and all i know is the Bard in the Inn is HOT even for a computer game character. Im not sure how the bard thing works though do you sing? play music? or is it just normal missions?

Its big. Very big.

I don't like the map but I don't like change so i'm still adjusting.
So much to do in it its unreal. Loving everything about it though.
Only ran into 1 major bug where Vilkres and Falkres (sp?) continously follow you and force open dialogue with you. then you can never fast travel ever again. May need to create a new character if that isn't fixed by the time i'm forced to be in there area.

Really enjoying it though.

Ah Skyrim, I'm trying my hardest to not actually play it due to university at the moment. I'm loving it so far, the dragons are WAAAAAY more welcome random encounters than oblivion gates ever were and they're just improved it all so much.

technically there are two main stories

1. Dragons are re-appearing for the first time since they were all wiped out, you (the character) are the first "dragonborn" (someone with the soul of a dragon) that has come along in 200 years or so, and it is up to you to find out why the Dragons are returning, and stop them

2. Civil war is brewing as Jarl Stormcloak is fighting for Skyrim's independence from the rest of the Empire, you can choose to either firght for the rebels to earn their freedom, or fight for the empire to keep them down.

in the middle of all that are 4 other factions you can join and rise through the ranks of, and countless random quests scattered throughout all of the cities and towns in the land.

I had some homies over when I was playing the game, I get up to go to the bathroom, and I come back and my boy is holding the controller running around.. So I asked him if he did anything, and he's like nah, I just wanted to run around and see what it was about.. I took it in stride thinking all he did was run around, now its a week later, and I find out he killed some dude in Markarth I needed to get into the Forsworn storyline SMH.. I would start all over again, but im already level 40 and have everything a sneak thief would want (100 sneak, 91 Lockpick, 100 Archery).. Im just mad cause I really wanted to see what the Forsworn were really all about..

So I picked this up today. Not really the biggest fan of RPGs, but I really want to be!! Most of the shops have it half price this week. £45 down to £22.5. Had a tenner on my GAME loyalty card so I only paid £12.5 for it!! :cool: That was an off too good to pass up really! I've had a little run about, did the training mission. I think i'd be able to get into it for sure!! Once i'm done with Saint Row 3, i'm going to get stuck into it! Wish me luck!!

1 isn't a weapon but a badass book
1 summons somethign very strong

I've been told I can buy the house from the steward but when I ask him about it he says there is a problem & won't sell it to me.

The house of Riften has an Alchemy garden & the house at Solitude is 3 stories.

Haven't done it but I saw my roomie do it. He did that -then- the dark brotherhood and I think it's just as long, actually. It looked like a fun as hell storyline anyway.

I did them at the same time, and they are pretty close in length, if anything the Thieve's Guild is a bit shorter simply because you can go through the entire "chain" without having to stop and do the side missions, though you do need to do a ton of side missions to get the achievement.

It's certainly a pretty good time sync. What I don't like about Hearthfire is that the three houses are virtually identical, the indoor greenhouse generates bees which is just retarded, and there's no way to upgrade the furniture and things lying around to make it look more ritzy than it does when it's fully built. I'd have more fun with it if the engine weren't massively retarded with placing things in the world... you've got a 50/50 chance of the game throwing your object off of wherever you placed it on when you leave and re-enter.

Deleted then re-installed the DLC and then loaded up an older save. Lost four hours but I can play now.
