Here is the deal. I ordered a bunch of eWrestlingNews shirts and I'm giving them away for free in promotion for the site.
This is what I ask of you to receive a free shirt: post a creative status update to your facebook page and mention @ewrestlingnews in your status to link to our facebook page. You will enter a chance to win a free shirt! All we ask is that you upload a photo afterwards and post it to our facebook page.
We're giving away 10 shirts this time around. We'll have more later as well.

This is a cool promotional idea, and props for making some shirts.
I can't say I'd wear an eWrestlingnews t-shirt often though, but I'd still like to participate due to the promotion part of it.
The directions are a little confusing though. Do I post a status on my page, linking your page...and if I win, I take a photo of myself in the shirt? Or do I post a status and screen shot it, then post it on your facebook page? Haha, I'm assuming the later, so I'll give it a shot.
I just hope none of my friends make fun of me. ;p
Edit: Okay, posted the status, took a screen shot, and posted it on the eWN facebook page. Do I qualify?
Sadly, I don't think any of my friends even like wrestling, let alone wrestling news.

What do we do to get a T-Shirt if we don't have nor want a Facebook page nor do twitter?

Don't get the T-shirt? Lol, I don't think there's any other options, if you want the t-shirt...make a facebook page. Although that'd kinda defeat the purpose, considering the point of the raffle is to spread the word of the site to friends, so if you have no friends on facebook, no one will go to the site.
I'll be honest, I said earlier I probably wouldn't wear the shirt, but it depends on what type of fabric it is. I'm really picky with my clothes, but if it's something that I like, I'd actually probably wear it often. Plus, if you're going to waste your life an internet forum, you might as well dress with it.

Don't get me wrong Frank. I'd love a free T-Shirt. I love free stuff.
But I only wear my sports teams shirts/jerseys.

Originally I wasn't even too interested in the shirt myself, but it's more for promotional reasons. More traffic to the site, although I don't even think anyone on my facebook saw my post and said "Huh...maybe I'll give that wrestling site a chance, even though I don't watch wrestling." Except I think there may be ONE guy who does watch it, maybe he saw it.
Either way, now that I won one, I'm kinda excited. I have to take a photo of myself when I get it though, lol.
If you say so.
lol, you ass hole, but that was pretty sig worthy as well

Probably, but it doesn't matter too much. If enough people did it, I'm sure some people would visit the site and check it out.

Got my t-shirt! (http://i849.photobucket.com/albums/ab57/The_Sullinator/IMG00149-20120103-1522.jpg?t=1325622282)
I already posted it on the EWN facebook page. It's a horrible photo, I know...I have my winter face going there, plus like I said in my facebook post, I was just playing football in the snow, and I've been awake for 22 hours.
Seriously, remember when I was staying up all night working on Legacy? Yeah, still haven't slept. Woke up at about 5pm...yesterday. Just waiting for my Dad to call, then I'm passing out.

Wait, you actually grew your hair out? I thought you were just doing that for your character? lol
EDIT: btw, is the fabric to your liking?

It's totally discriminatory in the way that if someone wanted a ewn shirt, then they have to have a facebook account. Pure discrimination.

This is a pretty cool idea, but I don't even have a facebook, would be pretty cool to make like a small shop for like mugs, shirts and stuff to give a wider promotion for the site. That way more people could buy them, funding the site & more people will see the items with the site name.

The funny thing is, my hair is actually a little bit longer then you can see in the picture. Nothing I never had before though, but yeah currently my character has the same hair as me. Usually when I'm describing what Dave Sullivan is wearing, it's very similar to what I'm currently wearing at the time.
Except if I say that I'm wearing a Steeler jersey or something, I wear them...just not normally around the house, unless a games on. But remember my last promo, I said I was wearing a long sleeved white t-shirt? Well I had two of them, and I wore the second one today under my shirt, but then I got home with that in the mail, and just threw it on over the second one. So you can kinda see the shirt under the EWN shirt.
And yes, that fabric is to my liking.

No, I just don't believe it is right to make people get a social facebook account in order to buy or receive a T-Shirt to support a site they like. Not only is it discriminatory, it is also communistic.

That wasn't the point I was trying to make, and it would be completely against the promotional idea Frank had if we made a facebook to get free stuff as we had no facebook before hand to advertise to friends/family.
The store idea, for shirts/mugs and ect would be more beneficial as a collective, which was the point i was making.

It'd also probably end up costing more money then it'd make. You have any idea the things Frank would have to do to set that up? And then, how many people would actually go and purchases things from the store? Some regulars might, but it wouldn't nearly be enough to maintain the store, nor the forums.
If Frank brought in more ads to the site, the maybe he could do that. But then we'd have guys complaining about all the ads.
So unless you know how to make the a store with a vBulletin forum license, and are willing to maintain it, I don't think it's going to be happening. I know that nobody would be able to see your status even if you did have a Facebook account, but the point of the plug was to promote EWN's Facebook page, not EWN itself. If people see the Facebook page, THEN they are lead to the website. One step at a time.
As for the t-shirt, I wore it today. Most people didn't understand what it meant...except for IAmSully'sFriend, remember him? He recognized the name immediately, then went on to ask me what my post count was. Then again, if it wasn't for him, I wouldn't even have known I had over 1000 posts. He also claimed that EWN ripped off Adult Swim's logo...but I responded with "No, Adult Swim ripped off EWN's Logo. :)

I'm with some of the other people on here I would rather just be able to buy the shirt than set up a facebook account. I just don't want a facebook account:mad:.

It's a give-away, I think they're just giving them away free to the people that post on FB. I'm sure it is possible to buy one, unless these t-shirts are limited editions or something?
You should ask Frank if it's possible to buy one.
