A few questions for this thread. By Wrestlemania 31 in 2015;

Which superstars do you think will have won a world title?
Who will be main eventing for each brand?

By this time, I think the likes of The Undertaker, Edge and maybe HHH will have retired to make way for younger stars.

I think that The Miz will have definitely won a world title by then.
Other names come to mind such as Drew McIntyre, John Morisson, Wade Barrett, Ezekiel Jackson is a possibility.
I think the main event for each brand at Wrestlemania 31 will be between two current stars who aren't in the main event scene, such as The Miz vs John Morisson for RAW and Jack Swagger vs someone like Kofi Kingston.

What are your thoughts?

Probably Sheamus, Ziggler, Miz, Morrison, possibly McIntyre. I predict Punk will be in that "Jericho" role as the "go to guy"

Ezekiel hasn't shown me that he has the ability to be a "top guy", but he also hasn't had the time to do so, with the injury and whatnot. So im gonna wait and see with him.

Yeah, I was thinking guys like Sheamus, Punk, Miz and Morrison will be around for a while as top main eventers.

I think if Ezekiel is given the right kind of push he could be too. He has the right build to intimidate and dominate pretty much anyone. He would benefit from a manager. I also think Morrison needs a heel turn

This x's 1000. His face run just isn't working. The awesomeness that was Morrison disappeared when he turned heel.

I'm pretty sure Orton and Cena will still be around getting pushed above the rest.

Id say barrett, del rio, all of the above or even daniel bryan/kaval if they need a main eventer the size of mysterio to replace him, and if mvp is still around he will be that generation's chavo guererro

I would say Sheamus, Punk, Miz, Morrison and Del Rio. Cena and Orton will be like the new HHH and Undertaker.

True! I seriously hope it goes that way. I'm guessing Cena and Orton will be having a couple more title reigns before then though. Next year I can see Punk, Swagger and Sheamus having title runs if WWE truly want to change the main event scene

Superstars That I Think Will Have Won A World Title By WrestleMania 31: John Morrison, Wade Barrett, Daniel Bryan, Ezekiel Jackson, The Miz and Ted DiBiase, Cody Rhodes and MVP. I'm absolutely sure that Morrison, Barrett, The Miz and both DiBiase and Rhodes will be a World Champion at one point or another and that Bryan, Big Zeke, and MVP will stick with the US Championship (Obviously with Bryan and MVP).

It's hard to say who will be Main Eventing each Brand because they've been doing a lot of switching lately. I think some main eventers will be of course the ones I listed above, Morrison, Barrett, Bryan, Jackson, Miz, DiBiase, and Rhodes. On top of those, I feel that Bourne, Ziggler, McIntyre, Swagger, Kingston, Gabriel and R-Truth will be main eventing.

I think that Taker will be retired, but I'm not quite sure about Edge and Triple H. I think they might still be in the game. Other vets that I see gone are Jericho, Henry, Regal, Big Show, Chavo, Kane and Mysterio.

I'm not even going to try and guess what the Main Event will be at WM31 because by then there will be probably 20 or 30 new Superstars.

Well let's see Cena will be like sorta a vet I guess, wouldn't surprise me if he got another title run around there. I definitely see Miz as the new face of the company. Alberto will be the next great heel. I can also see epic matches between Justin Gabriel and Evan Bourne in a WM if WWE does it right.

In five years I still see Cena, Big Show (?) and Orton being on top.

I am not a fan of Sheamus but he will likely be up there.

Now who would I like to see on top:

1) Alberto Del Rio
2) Wade Barret
3) David Otunga (there, I said it)
4) Justin Gabriel
5) The Miz

And yes, I left John Morrison and Kofi Kingston out on purpose. If they haven't set the world on fire by now they never will. Although some part of me would like to see Kofi in a monster push in the future.

But right now MVP, Kofi and Morrison are seen as the old set of guys. (sigh, damn WWE writers)

I also think Cody Rhodes, by the way, he has a pretty unique gimmick from what I know.
Or was there before in the wwf/wcw/wwe a dashing metrosexual (<- modern self-caring man) guy?

Though I can still see the Wasteland as a secondary move. Leading up to his new finisher.

It'd be a good signature move. It's been great as a set up for Gabriel's 450

Yeah. If he and Gabriel teamed up as a tag team, that would be a good combo.

Top Guys in the WWE in 5 Years

Drew McIyntre
Cody Rhodes
John Morrison
Randy Orton
John Cena
Kofi Kingston
Sheamus
Wade Barrett

BIG APOLOGIES TO ANY AND ALL FANS OF THE FOLLOWING:
Daniel Bryan
Justin Gabriel
Evan Bourne
CM Punk

These guys are freaking awesome wrestlers, but will NEVER get the HUGE push

CM Punk would get a huge push, so I'll trade CM punk for Drew McIntyre anyday. Drew lost his push ever since the Tiffinay incident.

I thought CM Punk was already a main eventer? He is being booked like Edge (who is also a main eventer) an was recently traded for Edge an then was sent to Raw not too long ago. He already has a gimmick to take out everybody on the Raw roster which in all means confuses me because he is now apart of team raw. I think if they do not Samoa Joe it then this could lead up to CM Punk feuding for that crappy spinner WWE Championship.

Miz as the new face of the company.

The Miz as the face of WWE? Yeah...that won't happen & really it shouldn't.

In 5 years I still see Orton, Edge, Mysterio, Cena & C.M. Punk as the vets, while the newer breed of main event staples will consist of Sheamus, Kingston, Miz, Morrison, DiBiase, Del Rio, McIntyre, Swagger, Gabriel, Rhodes & Barrett.

Everyone seems to be missing out Dibiase.
I think Goldust will help him become a solid upper mid-carder and maybe around this time next year he will be fueding for a world title.
Hell, he may even have a chance at winning the Royal Rumble

Who will be the top guys in 5 years time? This would be a better question if it was 10 years time because simply put Cena & Orton are still going to be the prime guys in the WWE for at least the next 8 to 10 years with possibly Orton being the face of the company within the next few years. What alot of you seem to forget is Orton is only 30 & Cena is only 32. For someone to say Miz will be the face of the company in 5 years when somone like Orton is the same exact age as him let alone a greater performer then him (Miz) is simply a laughable joke. The top guys in the company 5 years from now are Orton, Cena, Edge (if still around) Sheamus, Barrett, Big Show (if still around), Kane (if still around), & Punk with additions of...

-Morrison (who has the potential to be a good star but just hasn't reached it yet.)
-Miz (good promo guy but still weak in some areas.)
-Rhodes (good gimmick going for him but does he have pull.)
-DiBiase (he hasn't been able to get himself over with the crowd which is why he's been doing these weak storylines & having a diva by his side to try to put him over more.)
-Del Rio (he's just a big question mark as it's to soon to tell but I'm not impressed.)
-Kingston (has potential but is he really a top guy? & if so...his gimmick has to change.)
-Swagger (he had a push but it failed as last reported that fans just weren't interested in him which is why his push has died but he may still have a chance).

Guys like Gabriel, Bourne, Slater & so forth are mid-card guys for there entire careers as long as they stay in the WWE. McIntyre will not be a main eventer as many within the WWE have given up on him becoming a main eventer. Actually, I wouldn't be surprised if he isn't even around in 5 years.

Truth be told though, those few additions are still all question marks. I'll be the first say that none of the new additions are that great let alone real faces of a global company & sadly, the young talent today is limited as really WWE has to keep looking for the next big name because once Cena & Orton are gone...WWE doesn't have a face as of right now with the talent left over.

P.S. Out of all the young new talents Sheamus & Barrett are the only two worthy of main eventing but neither one of them though are the future faces of the company as that is still in search.

WWE in 5 Years, Main Eventers - The Miz, Del Rio, Matt Morgan, Bryan, Joe Hennig (Mcgulicutty), Heath Slater, AJ Styles, Wade Barret, maybe even Samoa Joe with Cena, Orton, Edge and Punk still around kicking arse. I see HHH taking more of a Boss/Heel role and wrestling matches against top faces every so often (ala Vince McMahon) Matt Striker and Cole will be the top announce team. Hopefully we will slip into a new era of wrestling where athleticism in the ring is favored over crappy storylines, and a "back to the basics" approach to booking will be sought.

In 5 years time Mason Ryan will be a massive star.
Sheamus will have turned face by then and will be huge.
The miz (heel), Morrison (heel) and CM punk (face) will all be on top
daniel Bryan will have lost the nerd gimmick by then and will be taken seriously. Ditto for kaval.
Cena and orton will still be around, probably involved with the main event. Cena will be full blown super heel by then. Randy wil be randy.
I'd like for Barrett to be up there. Same for Seth Rollins.
Dibiase and Cody need to up their game some, if they ever want to crack the glass ceiling.

How quickly we forget. Randy Orton recently signed at 10 YEAR DEAL with WWE... 10 YEARS!!! So he will still be in the main event picture in 5 more years. Thats a lock.

I'd like to see Morrison be the top guy on RAW sometime soon. That guy has the "IT" factor if WWE would just use him a little better.

Im voting the next start to break the midcard celiing is going to be THE MIZ (OF COURSE!!!)
