For those that don't know, I'm a Correctional Officer for NJDOC so, when I work, it'll be hard for me to IC but, I'll still follow along, read the thread and write promos and check out the shows. :) Don't think I disappeared.

What is up guys? I hope everyone is doing well, I am doing decent. In the last week I've been doing a lot of thinking. I love efedding, and I enjoy getting the chance to work with each and everyone single one of you. With that said, I do have a girlfriend, a daughter, and a job. I know a lot of you will agree that real life takes precedents over efedding. Since starting up ICW, my time with my daughter and my gf has been pulled away by doing this. It was the other night when my gf and I got into a fight over this, that I realized I had to make a choice. When it comes down to it, her, and everything else in real life is more important than efedding. With that being said, I am stepping away from ICW. Now when it comes to whether or not this efed will close, will be up to you. If any of you wish to step up as the owner/creative, I will totally be ok with that. I plan on still posting on the forums once in a while, as well as staying a part of HWA and WWE Fantasy. It's just a matter of writing a show each week, sucks up too much time, where as it doesn't take me long at all to do a promo. I'm sure some will be upset, and I hope you don't hold this against. I consider each of you a friend, and I hope for those I am involved with in other efeds, we can continue to work together and have a great time. I do this with a heavy heart, and just hope that we the friendships I've formed with a lot of you, don't go away.

Thanks bro. And for those of you who are only part of this fed, and want to continue to do efedding, I highly recommend HWA. My personal opinion is that HWA is one of the best efeds on this forum, and with Eddie as the #1 guy, you can all expect to get the same high quality of shows and storylines like you did in ICW.

I had to re-read this multiple times ... I couldn't believe it at first ... But it is totally understandable and nothing can be held against you bro. We're all friends, hell, we're all family here in the e-Feds, but real life does come first. I hope someone can take the reigns of ICW ... this is a great e-fed and it would be a shame to see it fall, we were becoming one of the best. I wish I could step up and do the creative thing but at the moment in my real life, its difficult to maintain an e-fed presence with my 2 kids, wife and my job that requires me to work 12 - 16 hour shifts nightly. It sucks and until people are in your situation, they could never fully understand what you go through.

That's why I dropped out of being a creative member in JBW. I hate making people wait and if I was a head somewhere, that's what it would feel like. I really hope ICW stays alive and goes into the direction you wanted it to. Also, I hope we get to at least see NO REMORSE if in fact ICW does bow out... we need to at least have that PPV in and have it be a huge event.

Real life always comes first before e-fedding. Now that you mention that you have a gf, and a daughter, I'm amazed at how you were able to run an e-fed on your own and fully write a show each week. Kudos for doing it this long.

This fed has been doing great since starting up, and it would be a real shame for it to end. I've had a good time in the brief time I've been here and I hope someone can step up to the plate and continue the work Bear has done.

If not though, then I'll make the same offer as Eddie. EWNCW's doors are always open for anyone, and we offer the same service of fully written shows like ICW.
But bottom line is, hopefully someone can keep ICW going. It's a big task, but I'm sure there's someone up to it here.

I am saddened to see all of what is going on, but Bear, trust me, from the bottom of my heart, I totally understand and sympathize, you are by far, one of the most creative, and I can safely say, one of the best writers here. And I completely understand, but I do hope, if ICW has to god forbid shut down, that you will still continue to stay on EWN. I would help, but I can't commit myself for sure to it, especially with college, and I'm still somewhat in a stage of grieving. What is up guys? I hope everyone is doing well, I am doing decent. In the last week I've been doing a lot of thinking. I love efedding, and I enjoy getting the chance to work with each and everyone single one of you. With that said, I do have a girlfriend, a daughter, and a job. I know a lot of you will agree that real life takes precedents over efedding. Since starting up ICW, my time with my daughter and my gf has been pulled away by doing this. It was the other night when my gf and I got into a fight over this, that I realized I had to make a choice. When it comes down to it, her, and everything else in real life is more important than efedding. With that being said, I am stepping away from ICW. Now when it comes to whether or not this efed will close, will be up to you. If any of you wish to step up as the owner/creative, I will totally be ok with that. I plan on still posting on the forums once in a while, as well as staying a part of HWA and WWE Fantasy. It's just a matter of writing a show each week, sucks up too much time, where as it doesn't take me long at all to do a promo. I'm sure some will be upset, and I hope you don't hold this against. I consider each of you a friend, and I hope for those I am involved with in other efeds, we can continue to work together and have a great time. I do this with a heavy heart, and just hope that we the friendships I've formed with a lot of you, don't go away.

I don't think two ICW shows a week is a good thing. We see what happens when real life hits. If you don't have enough creative members to do it then its forced on a small amount of people which in turn will burn them out. I think one show a week is good enough.

Now, onto the question Yes2J... will you be playing out bear's plans or will you be changing them? I don't know how much is set after NO REMORSE but, will you keep that or change it up?

Also, as was asked before will you be keeping it fully written or will you do videos?

Plus, until you know who exactly's going to be helping you with this, and how much time you all are able to commit to this, then sticking to one show is for the benefit of the fed at the end of the day.

STATE OF ICW
Right now, we're definitely hitting the brakes momentarily. We thank you for your considerable patience. There are a few possible ways we'll organize creative control. There is a little bit of discussion of putting No Remorse a week later, just so there is time to write a phenomenal show, as opposed to a mediocre.

In regards to MAYBE having two shows a week:
That will only happen if their are multiple people working on it. I am afraid of letting too many hands ruin the product anyways, so I don't think we'll even consider doing 2 shows unless we have a good system with multiple people worked out.

We could very well have 2 creative members, with some additional help. We're still sorting everything out. I just wanted to get the feeling on that subject.

I'm pitching any of the ideas I have, which there will be more, because I don't want to stray too far out of any comfort zone (even though I still have plenty of adjusting to do). I want this to be more democratic, and get you guys a bit more involved in the creative process collectively. This will help me (and whoever else) write good shows, as well as make a smoother adjustment from what bear does to what I (or we) end up doing.

In regards to storylines, matches, events:
We will see what the future looks like. As of right now, everything has been left open-ended...including No Remorse as I've understood.
What I can, at this point, say for sure is that there will be more than one creative member.

In regards to video or written matches:
I would much prefer the written method. On a bad week, like bear, I would probably do videos, if I don't have time to write out a show. With more creative help, fully written shows are more of an option.

A few things that I have come across to note:
1. I was looking through the roster page and I must say, you guys are awesome at character writing!
2. bear's character is in the Top 8 and in the RTG match, I'm going to have to fill that spot, but I will definitely talk to bear about sticking around for that.
3. I have a lot of catching up to do...more than I anticipated. I will see if bear has anything for me, otherwise I will probably just create new feuds just based on chemistry and contrasting/similar characters. This means KEEP THE IC POSTING GOING!

I know we're sort of on pause, or at least we've lost some momentum. Just keep posting guys, I know you like it, and it's helpful for making feuds/story lines!

Just thinking out loud, to a degree...but don't let these issues stop you guys from having fun! :)
Even if someone else ends up getting involved, ICW will continue just as you've known it (for the most part).

It really depends on the request for me, but for a good promo, it could range between 10 - 30 minutes ... and I'll send my promo to you again

I read the requirements and what you want me to do and then think it over for maybe a day or 2. Depends on the time period given. I mainly just think of different things of what I could say and what would be good to include. It then takes about 20-30 minutes to write it out and then 5-10 minutes of proof reading.

It takes me at least 5 or 10 minutes planning the promo out (adding the requests and then writing out my bits). Then 20-25 minutes to the promo itself. And then at least 10-15 minutes to check it, and edit it. I type really fast as well.

I read what you want from me then I take about 30 minutes to think what to write and usually take about an hour or two to write it. Then it takes 10 minutes to proof read it.

OkOk guys. So I've done more thinking in the last few days and I've realized a lot of you guys really like my creativity and I enjoy being creative. So im going to keep on running icw, but there will be a few things different. First, karnage is moving to sundays. I work sats, suns, and mons, so I can do karnage on breaks or in between shifts because I stay at work when im not on the clock. My boss is nice enough to give me a room to sleep in. Now, no remorse will be the last fully written show. I am still going to try and make icw different from other efeds and here is how. Let me give you a history lesson in my efed experience.

8 yrs ago when I started doing this, efeds weren't on forums, they had their own website, atleast all the ones I was in were that way. It worked well. The owner would post a card for the next show telling everyone what matches they are in, and then gave everyone 5 days or a week or so to do promos. So coming to ewn and seeing where you only did 1 promo and icing were different to me. Well, I am taking icw in that direction. Starting with the karnage after no remorse I will post the karnage card, and everyone on it will write promos. You wont send them to me. Instead you will post them here. For regular shows like karnage you will have a max cap of 5 promos, and ppvs 7. I still want to see ic posting, but when it comes to who wins matches or feuds, promos will be weighed more heavily than icing. By doing this, it'll help promote creativity. Think of it this way. Say darius and shaz feud. They have a triple threat match at the next karnage. Shaz writes and posts a promo, and darius reads it. Say something sticks out to darius as a talking point, so he writes a promo, and then shaz could write one countering darius's promo. There will be times I ask for a specific promo for the show, and when I do, ill pm that person. For promos for matches on karnage and ppvs, im not going to give you talking points or directions. This is your promo, be creative. I will say this, if all you write is your characters name and then some text, that's icing, not a promo. I would consider a promo where there are actions. Like you could write a promo where you are at a house show and you come out to the ring before a match and talk about your feud and up coming match I assigned to you, or you could be interviewed by someone backstage, or you could cut a promo while your character works out. Be creative, be different. If you want to do dual promos, like using shaz and darius as an example again, if they wanted to do where they both do 1 promo together for their match they could. It be like where it is now where you go back and forth and instead of sending the combined thing to me, whoever finishes it would post it. My only thing with this is either a) both people be involved or b) if you use someone elses character in a promo you need their permission. If I find out you used someone elses character in a promo and they didn't ok it, we will have problems. As for how shows will be done, im not going to reveal that yet, I will wait until its time for that karnage so you each can see.

Now I am sure there will be a lot of questions, and ill answer any you might have. I look forward to any thoughts you all might have on this new direction. I'm with Eddie on this one. I have characters in every eFed except from EWNCW, and I don't feel I can commit to said amount of promos a week. Maximum 1 per character on Karnage and PPV

I do have to agree with Eddave, Bear.

I'm not always in the mood so hence why I leave it a day or 2 (Main reason is I think about it but the extra delay is cause I'm not in the mood sometimes.)

I'm not a fan of that idea either Bear, that seems very time consuming and very confusing as well, I have just got used to the way EWN does their eFeds and its simple, that way seems very complex and difficult. The time constraints are very tough as well, as most of us have college/school and work to deal with ... So it'd be hard to do promos like that ...

Mate, as much as it sounds great, it sounds really complicated, and I don't think I'd have the time to do five promos a week- that'd just fuck me over in terms of how my character would be developed. I don't think it's fair to those that don't have time for the promos in the thread. Even though it only takes me 15 minutes to write a promo, I'm not always in the mood, sometimes I wanna write my BTB, sometimes I wanna do other things. I just think that if I wasn't in the mood, I'd end up losing every week and turning into a jobber because I wouldn't wanna do five promos a week- especially considering I have a show to write myself, help out writing the WWE Fed, plus Kyojin in two other feds, Edge in the WWE fed and Eddie Juarez (who, as much as I love writing for Kyojin, is my pride and joy when it comes to efed characters)

In my own personal opinion, ICW is different to the other feds even if you just do videos for every single show, with one promo a week and ICing.

If this is the direction ICW is going, I'm not sure I'd be able to commit to doing it man.

Yeah but if promos = pushes then there's gonna be guys who won't be getting the push, and I'd be included.

I think a lot of people have already said that they're not that big fans of the idea mate, but what you've gotta remember is ICW has developed a big following already, as long as the storylines remained as good as they are mate, people would stick to this company, and join as well.

To me though, personally, I rather see promos for the first time in the show. Otherwise it doesn't add that something to it. And, using this for an example, say on an episode of Monday Night Raw, when would John Cena do 5 promos building towards a match that later day. I'm fine with a little fantasy, but that's just too unrealistic for me.

Also, a lot of people don't have time to regularly check out the discussion thread. Until recently, all I did for some feds was do promos and read shows. Discussions threads were untouchable because I have no time. It just over complicates a simple situation.

He does an amazing combo of a great promo and a lot of ic posting. He would still be getting a good push even if he didn't do a promo, because he ics regularly.

What if cena did 1 promo where he was out doing make a wish, stepped a way for a moment to talk to the cameras and discuss doing make a wish, his upcoming match, and his feud. Then for his next promo, he is at a house show where he comes out before his match with someone, to talk about recent remarks his adversary in his feud had said in a diff promo. Then for a third promo he is interviewed backstage by coach a few hrs before raw starts, talking about what is going on. Now keep in mind, if your opponent does promos too, you'd have stuff to go off of in later ones, so you wouldn't be repeating the same thing. It comes back to being creative and going "what's something I can do or say that hasn't been done before"

Yeah I get what you're saying about the something new, and the different promos but that again comes down to commitment, and what I'm saying is I don't have the time, or even the attention span to do that mate.

That's the thing tho. You say you don't, but yet you do. Here is what I mean. Take how u do it now eddie. 1 promo per show with some icing in between. The only thing that would be different, is instead of sending me a promo, you'd post it in this thread. Yeah you'd have to be a little creative as to where you'd have the promo take place and what you would say, but you can do it. Your a creative guy.

OkOk guys. So I've done more thinking in the last few days and I've realized a lot of you guys really like my creativity and I enjoy being creative. So im going to keep on running icw, but there will be a few things different. First, karnage is moving to sundays. I work sats, suns, and mons, so I can do karnage on breaks or in between shifts because I stay at work when im not on the clock. My boss is nice enough to give me a room to sleep in. Now, no remorse will be the last fully written show. I am still going to try and make icw different from other efeds and here is how. Let me give you a history lesson in my efed experience.

8 yrs ago when I started doing this, efeds weren't on forums, they had their own website, atleast all the ones I was in were that way. It worked well. The owner would post a card for the next show telling everyone what matches they are in, and then gave everyone 5 days or a week or so to do promos. So coming to ewn and seeing where you only did 1 promo and icing were different to me. Well, I am taking icw in that direction. Starting with the karnage after no remorse I will post the karnage card, and everyone on it will write promos. You wont send them to me. Instead you will post them here. For regular shows like karnage you will have a max cap of 5 promos, and ppvs 7. I still want to see ic posting, but when it comes to who wins matches or feuds, promos will be weighed more heavily than icing. By doing this, it'll help promote creativity. Think of it this way. Say darius and shaz feud. They have a triple threat match at the next karnage. Shaz writes and posts a promo, and darius reads it. Say something sticks out to darius as a talking point, so he writes a promo, and then shaz could write one countering darius's promo. There will be times I ask for a specific promo for the show, and when I do, ill pm that person. For promos for matches on karnage and ppvs, im not going to give you talking points or directions. This is your promo, be creative. I will say this, if all you write is your characters name and then some text, that's icing, not a promo. I would consider a promo where there are actions. Like you could write a promo where you are at a house show and you come out to the ring before a match and talk about your feud and up coming match I assigned to you, or you could be interviewed by someone backstage, or you could cut a promo while your character works out. Be creative, be different. If you want to do dual promos, like using shaz and darius as an example again, if they wanted to do where they both do 1 promo together for their match they could. It be like where it is now where you go back and forth and instead of sending the combined thing to me, whoever finishes it would post it. My only thing with this is either a) both people be involved or b) if you use someone elses character in a promo you need their permission. If I find out you used someone elses character in a promo and they didn't ok it, we will have problems. As for how shows will be done, im not going to reveal that yet, I will wait until its time for that karnage so you each can see.

Now I am sure there will be a lot of questions, and ill answer any you might have. I look forward to any thoughts you all might have on this new direction. Hmm, it's an interesting idea. But a very time consuming one IMO.

For someone who has just one character, this is easily doable.
But for someone who has, let's say 5 characters across multiple feds, then this isn't a very idea concept.

The person with just one character will easily get in their 5 promos per show, no problem, while the 5 character dude won't due to having other commitments to take into consideration.

this concept and idea seems to be ideal for the hardcore e-fedder, which is why it's a concept that's being deployed on e-fedding sites, rather on forum e-feds such as the ones on EWN. It's a very intense concept that requires a lot of attention and a lot of time investment. Something that many here don't have to spare, hence why they prefer the more laid back system currently on offer.

So....it's back :D That's right. After doing some thinking, I decided to bring ICW back. I came up with a new way to do written shows so that it works for you guys, and for me. Shows will be moved to saturdays, both Karnage and PPVs. Promo's will be the same in that I will send out an assignment, you'll have a time frame, and get them back to me and Ill interject them into the show. For those who will look at this and shake their heads because of the number of efeds, to those I say, ICW in a short span on 3 to 4 months, rose up to put out a great number of shows and had awesome activity. For those who were thinking of joining or who had just joined, I hope I can still count on you to be aboard, and for those already here...well..prepare for the next ride of this journey! WOO HOO!
