*shrug* I don't know, but I do hope he comes back. He was indeed one of my favorite TNA wrestlers (behind James Storm and Samoa Joe).

Their use (or lack of) of the pope does leave you scratching your head. To me hes the most charismatic wrestler they have on the roster and definetly one of the best talkers they have, yet other than the odd low key feud he is rarely seen. Can only guess hes not kissing the right ass or hes got a bad attitiude (which i think there has been rumours of?).
Does amuse/annoy me that they are pushing Bischoffs kid and not one of their best assets in the Pope.

You don't see him because Hulk Hogan loves to bury the Black wrestlers. Remember when The Pope won AAO back in 2010 was suppose to win the title just to turn around and see him kick to the crub for RVD?
Think about what TNA would have become if you had pushed the pope. The AAO ppv in 2010 was the best one they had all year because he had proven he could hang with all the top guys. To send my point home about HH and the black wrestler, Remember Jay Lethal and his feud with Flair. He was so over with the crowd and the IWC just to get put ina feud with Robbie E? Bobby Lashley is another good example to use

Honestly I want to think this is wrong, but it seems to be correct.

Beats me because I've been riding this thing since I first started posting here. The Pope is best all-around wrestler they have in TNA in terms of talking and wrestling. The Pope should be TNA's top face right now, but instead TNA wants to throw him in some useless feud with Devon and then never wrestle again. Seriously The Pope could be TNA's Rock if they just gave him the ball, but I guess TNA never wants to catch up with the WWE.
fire hogan...Pope will become the new face of wrestling in general n TNA in particular....

I think he got "Kaz'ed" so you'll have to dig pretty deep to find out where he's been buried... As for your statement, you're correct in that he should be talking on every episode, if not wrestling. But TNA does this with pretty much all the things we like about TNA... They take them away before we're ready to let them go. The exception at this point being A Double holding the X title. The longer he has it, the more credibility that belt has. And until they get an X Division'er worthy of taking it off him, don't. I don't care if he even has to be crowned joint Heavyweight/X Champ. You can't end his reign until someone worth ending it is found.

I see you read my rant on TNA's free agency. As for A Double I agree with you that he is the best guy TNA is pushing right now with RR coming a close second in my opinion and Storm in third. However I think that if TNA were to create a feud between the Pope and A Double, not just one PPV match a three to four PPV stretch you could have a credible opponent take over the X-Title freeing A Double to go against RR

Should be a perfect work with one question... Does Pope meet the new weight regulations now in place since the bullshit "Kill the X Division" angle (thanks Eric B*******) or is he over the limit? I think the weight is set at 210lb

Fuck I don't think he does, but I would love a feud with the Pope taunting A Double with how he isn't a real X-Division Champion because a real X-Division Champion believes in no limits, not weight limits.

Agreed. The Mic work between the two would be awesome. A Double making fun of him for being buried. Pope taunting A Double for not being "Tough Enough" to take on a real man like him. The matches would be awesome between the two, but man would the mic work carry that angle.

I firmly believe that could be one of TNA's Greatest Rivalries, if not their greatest.
