Bold Predictions: The 2012 NFL Season

This is something I told TBOZ I would do, so I'll get to it now.

With the draft over, we know at least most about the teams going into the season, depending on how the rest of the off season goes of course. With that said, what is something you think will happen this year, that maybe not many others would? What are your BOLD predictions for the 2012 NFL season? I'll start off with mine:

1. The Broncos will NOT finish above 8-8 this year.

2. Tim Tebow WILL start at QB for Jets by the time the season is over (unfortunately)

3. The New York Giants will NOT make the playoffs.

4. The Bengals WILL make the playoffs.

5. Antonio Brown WILL finish in the top 10 receiving yards leaders in the NFL this season.

6. Cam Newton will NOT live up to any expectations that have been set for him

7. Despite distraction, Drew Breese WILL finish in the top 3 passing yard leaders in the NFL, and the Saints WILL make the playoffs

Bold predictions hmm? Tough call pal but I'll give you a few bold ones.

Probably none will happen but hey, I'm guessing lol


- St. Louis Rams will finish bottom.

- Jaguars WILL beat the Texans in 1 of the 2 fixtures but it won't make any real difference to either team. (Bold prediction but I can easily see this. We beat the Ravens last season and no-one saw that happening)

- "Tebow time" will happen once this season. Pulling off an amazing comeback against whoever. It'll will be bummed by the media as the start of a "He'll lead the Jet's to the SB hurdur!" discussion on certain websites (*looks at ESPN and Fox*) and then he'll flop and do below average/maybe worse in the following games.

- Detriot Lions will win NFC North.

- Texans will make the superbowl. DAT DEFENCE!

- Edmonton Oilers won't win 1 game of American football this season.

Since you say that, I'll go with a new one:

The Rams WILL win the NFC West.

1. The Patriots will have 6 Pro Bowlers (if it continues) on offense in Brady, Gronk, Welker, Lloyd, Hernandez, and Mankins.

2. The Giants will finish 3rd in the NFC East, with the Cowboys and Eagles ahead of them.

3. Luke Kueckly will lead the NFL in tackles in his rookie year.

4. Ryan Tannehill will do better statistically and lead his team to a better record then Luck or RG3.

5. Fred Jackson, not Arian Foster, Ray Rice, or Matt Forte, will lead the league in all-purpose yards.

6. Michael Floyd and Larry Fitzgerald will both finish with 80+ rec, 1000+ rec yards, 5+ TDs.
