...........................John Lauriniaitis !!!! :p

Johnny Ace won vs Cena at Over The Limit as, obviously, Lord Tensai & Sakamoto were involved and cost Cena the match.

CM Punk retains at Over the Limit.

The day after, on RAW, Punk cut a promo and "disrespect" Johnny Ace. Johnny Ace is upset, so he put himself in a WWE Championship match vs an injured Punk, who was attacked before the match by Lord Tensai & Daniel Bryan. Johnny Ace wins and is the new WWE Champion !!!

What a huge upset this would be !!!!

Your thoughts ?

How?!? given that hes not the very best in ring even in his "glory days" but if he can polish that up it could be golden for possibly one the best heel wwe champions in recent memory sort of like a dulled down mcmahon but with better wrestling skills LoL!

It hasn't been done recently so I don't see why not. To be honest it's a very good opening for some action from the Board of Directors and/or Triple H if they're going to go that route anytime soon, complete with striking the loss from Punk's record and giving him back the title. If they're not going to do that though then I don't see much point in it.

No times 1000, this would ruin any credibility the WWE title has left, Johnny stumbles though promos and is dearly lacking charisma, as far as in-ring ability? Well Im not expecting much from that come OTL.

My thoughts exactly HT. I don't even know why they are going to make us suffer through a John vs John match. Knowing the WWE, that'll be the main event too, and will be overshadowed by an amazing Punk/Bryan match

I do not want to see this at all!! It will be dumb and the title will lose so much credibility.

I doubt this will happen. Remember, the Board of Directors are not punishing him because Cena said to wait till after the PPV. Once that happens, all the trouble he's building up now will come biting him hard. Maybe they'll just get rid of the GM since the Board of Directors are the most in power.

The reason for a John Cena vs Johnny Ace match is because it sets up Johnny Ace as a dominant authority figure who although isn't going to stand a chance in the match kayfabe speaking, he has the 'authority power' to be Cena. I don't know how they are going to work this match at Over The Limit but it will most likely help in giving Johnny Ace more heel heat.

It will end up being No DQ and Tensai would assumedly do most of the work, at least thats what I am hoping for.

Has anyone considered that Johnny Ace may actually still be able to wrestle? When it was Vince McMahon vs whoever, or Michael Cole vs whoever, these are guaranteed stinkers because they were not nor ever have been wrestlers. Johnny Ace however did legitimately wrestle. Ace wrestled professionally for 14 years before retiring.

Is anyone supposed to believe that he can beat Cena or Punk? No. I'm just saying this is far removed from an actor winning a belt. If he's actually training legitimately and still knows the ropes I think Ace can potentially put on a watchable match. He's certainly not too old if Wikipedia is to be believed because it says he's 46. That's only 4 years older than Triple H and it's probably within the ballpark of the Undertaker's age too. I wouldn't count on the match itself being a car wreck just yet. It's definitely not going to be a Punk vs Daniel Bryan but it's not like it's going to be Hogan vs Leno unless Ace is a total diva now and won't properly train for this.
