Most of us will agree that WWE should listen to what Paul Heyman says. The guy has an intuition for wrestling that's virtually unequalled. I've started this thread so people can post and re-post the quotes and opinions of Heyman and discuss them.

-- Paul Heyman wrote the following on Twitter about WWE (http://www.ewrestlingnews.com/news?Item%5Btags%5D=WWE) Superstars (http://www.ewrestlingnews.com/news?Item%5Btags%5D=Superstars)Jimmy and Jey Uso: “Amazing seeing @WWE (http://www.ewrestlingnews.com/news?Item%5Btags%5D=WWE)usos … remember, I haven’t been around for half a decade … The last time I saw these two, they were little kids doing splashes off the top rope in the Omni before the show when I managed their Dad. Yes, that makes me old, but I recognize TALENT. @WWE (http://www.ewrestlingnews.com/news?Item%5Btags%5D=WWE)usos are talented. Time for these young Samoans to eat up the competition!”

Seriously, the Usos rock, why aren't they used more? You could easily build a division with these guys, and especially with these guys and the KOW

They don't want tag teams that get over, unless they are 2 people who have absolutely nothing in common and will break up in 6 months tops.

I said earlier on another thread that Paul Heyman is the albert einstein of wrestling,
If he was given a position creatively in the wwe to help superstars by doing what heyman knows best "Hiding their weakness and highlighting their strengths" imagine how the company would benefit.
Just Imagine how letting Heymans creative flair loose on Dolph ziggler would benefit ziggler or any other talented wrestler on the brink of reaching the main event but missing that litle ingredient getting there!
great as it is to see him on TV he needs a role backstage and being given some freedom and trust by vince mcmahon

"I want you to know that I’m not crying…my eyes are red because I was in the back smoking a joint with Van Dam (http://www.luttemedia.com/lutte/Rob_Van_Dam). I have a need in my heart to thank Tod Gordon for giving me the chance to be creative and book for you crazy bastards. I have a need to thank that man Ron Buffone and his partner Charlie Bruzzese for sticking with us and sitting in a TV Studio and building that TV show for you...you are the craziest bastards I have ever met in my life...I love every one of you. And I was gonna take the high road and just say thank you and leave ...but I have something to say to you! (Points to the WWE balcony) You see...I’ve waited a long time to say this to you...Eric Bischoff! But in case you don’t notice...it’s not Paul Heyman with his tail between his legs going to a WCW PPV…YOU ARE IN OUR HOUSE...BITCH!. Oh wait a minute… wait a minute… wait a minute...hide your wives...it’s Edge (http://www.luttemedia.com/lutte/Edge)! Now Edge...I know nobody with a written promo has the balls to say this to you, but I have two words for you...MATT-FREAKIN’-HARDY! , Well, with that...I almost forgot about you! Mr. Shoot Promo himself...bounced Checks...ECW went out of business...Hey John (JBL)...On a personal note...from all of us just to you...since you want to shoot cowboy…the only reason you were WWE Champion for a year, is because Triple H (http://www.luttemedia.com/lutte/Triple_H) didn’t want to work Tuesdays! Now one more time for old times sakes...right there so the whole world can see us…this ain’t WCW (http://www.luttemedia.com/lutte/WCW)...this ain’t Monday Night RAW (http://www.luttemedia.com/lutte/Monday_Night_RAW)...this ain’t SmackDown! (http://www.luttemedia.com/lutte/SmackDown%21)...this ain’t even World Wrestling Entertainment (http://www.luttemedia.com/lutte/World_Wrestling_Entertainment) (WWE)...this my friends...is E-C-FUCKING-W!!"
that was my favorite promo that he ever did.

also, when asked what he would change in TNA
If you were over 40, I'd chop your fucking head off. I want a guy who is entering the prime of his career and shape him and mold him.

Via Twitter, Paul Heyman was asked to give his opinion on the best female wrestler. He responded, "Easy answer. @TheBethPhoenix. And she could rock in MMA, too."
totally correct
could you see Beth vs Cyborg?

I see what you are saying. There is no doubt that the man was horrible with money, which directly led to ECW failing. That being saidHeyman is a genius, truly a mad scientist in the best sense of the world... As long as someone else is holding the purse strings. A jew that's bad with money, it's like a temporal anomoly (just kidding Bodz)

Vince won't listen - that's the main problem. He refuses to admit he doesn't know it all. Hey.....kinda like Bodom!

This. Vince see's tag teams as a way to push the next big singles star (or to carry a feud/give light duty to a ring rusted or injured guy). That's the problem.. that's why people always use the "rockers" analogy when talking about WWE tag teams. Japan actually see's Tag Team's as a prestigious division.

All I have to say is if Vince had a brain and hired Paul Heyman as the head of creative writer he would give the wrestling fans (Not WWE Universe) fucken awesome Wrestling Entertainment in 2 months then what the writers of today haven't been doing since the last 7 yrs

Hate to break it to ya, man, but it would take Vince, Steph, Trips, Dunn, Hayes and whoever else is on The 'Es creative team to die in a plane crash for Paul E to have anything to do with creative.
Note: I am in no way wishing for the death of the entire WWE creative team. :D

Sabu wasn't a bad worker....for a spot monkey. But that's the whole point - he ignored the fact that they might have been average workers and listened to what the fans wanted. Obviously they(the fans) didn't care about that. It's far more important to give the people what they want, rather than what you'd have them have, because "you know better". That's such a Vince McMahon attitude
Robstar
05-10-2012, 04:41 PM
Agreed. Like I stated in my OP, Its easy to sell your talent as credible workers even though that certain talent may be a terrible worker like Sandman and Sabu by using the method of hiding their weaknesses like Heyman always did but that method is a lost art in wrestling today.
HHH anyone? Cena? Hogan? Average workers pushed to the moon and got them over like crazy.

I always preferred Paul E. Dangerously to Paul Heyman. Imagine him managing Taker for WM29!

That was exactly the point I was making in my previous post (though I don't think those three are average workers IMO).
I do. And I say that as a fan. Maybe not average workers, but of average ability is what I meant to say.
