How do you think they get the money for helping people its not a charity. If there was no TV there would be no help simple.

Its not digusting i think that is abit much. Alot of the people on the show are vile people no doubt but thats added there for entertainment purposes. And alot of the pregnacy arguements that are on there are about if hes the dad or not.

If you couldnt afford a paternity test and you werent sure if your exs baby was yours what would you do?

Most of the teenagers are without a doubt but the drug addicts, food addicts and alcholics are just themselves and alot of the time its family members trying to get them the help they need and hopefully by seeing themselves look the state they are on TV it will make them sort themselves out.

Most of Texas is a very old-fashioned, VERY conservative kinda place
a few years ago Austin started getting more and more tech companies (like Dell and Samsung and 3M) moving here to open their offices/support facilities. That, in turn brought a lot of computer techs and people who spent a lot more time learning in much more liberal areas
personally I fall in the middle politic-wise, but I, like many people moved here to get work. As a result there are more people living in Austin that were born and raised in other states than seems to be the norm in the rest of Texas
