View Full Version : WWE fans will complain about anything

I was just reading comments on this site and saw multiple people complaining that we're seeing Bryan vs. Punk again. Are you serious? These are probably the 2 best wrestlers on the roster and you should be happy that either of these guys are even in the WWE at all, especially at such a high level. This just goes to show, no matter what WWE does right, their fans will find some way to complain about it. It's sad, really.

100% in agreement with what you're saying, and I will hold my hands up, I am just of guilty of doing the same!

HUGE fan of Punk and Cena, I would be happy if RAW was just these two going in a double Ironman match for the whole show to be honest. What I AM guilty of complaining about is making MITB champions only. 100% BS! MITB is about getting new talent over and pushing them to the main event level. I do not wanna see Big Show, Cena or Jericho (as much as a fan I am of the latter) in the main event picture any more. Their time has gone as top dog, time to pass the torch and let the next generation shine

I wish to complain about this complainer, complaining about all the complaints!

(I do agree with you though but bless 'em, it keeps them off the streets!)

Complaining about fans complaining? It's like looking into a mirror that shows another mirror in the reflection. It just keeps going and going and going and going and going.....

Simply put, there always something to complain about, always will be, so of course your going to get someone complaining. No fan will ever agree that everything was perfect. How boring would the world be if everyone agreed. :)

Amen to that, my fellow Seasider

I'm not complaining about another Punk/Bryan match but I'd like to see a stipulation added to the match seeing as we've already saw them in a standard wrestling match at a PPV recently. Something like a submission match or if they don't put too many matches on the card, a 60 minute iron man match.

Let them complain, they pay their money to watch PPVs (sometimes) if they buy the merch the dvds etc, let them voice their dissaprovement lol

Completely agree. Sometimes fans have a good point to argue, such as when the WWE do something great and then drop the ball on it - like with the Nexus angle. But sometimes fans argue for the stupidest reasons - like Punk vs Bryan is getting "boring". It's still the best feud in the WWE right now, and the 2 continue to put on stellar matches everytime they're in the ring together. Stop your complaining and enjoy it, no matter what the stipulation.

I have to disagree. It's getting watered down and played out. Perhaps if they didn't make them face each other like 3 times leading up to Wrestlemania, it might be a different story. And the feud can't go on forever. Even if they are the two best wrestlers right now. Even us die-hards got sick of Stone Cold vs The Rock after a while.

OT - I'm a fan of both so I don't mind seeing another match as I suspect this'll end their feud meanwhile Kane will hopefully win the MITB

Oops, I meant Punk and Bryan. God knows why I wrote Cena. Cena can go tuck himself into bed (TV PG in mind!)

Another example of how petty we can be as fans. I like Punk, delighted when he became WWE Champion beating Super Cena. When he came back I found I didn't like him as much. You know why? Cos he ditched his awesome Killswitch Theme for the Cult of Personalty theme.

Sounds pathetic, but I LOVE Killswitch Engage and HATE his new theme (although technically its his old ROH theme before any smarks pipe up!). Cult is growing on me, but nothing will every beat This Fire Burns for me

Great, now we get complaining about the complaining. That's about like the pot calling the kettle black don't ya think.

Last year's MITB Punk won the title and skyrocketed his career, this year's he defends it against the guy who won the SD MITB match last year. Weird, huh? I just want some new blood in the main event, not the same 3-4 guys every ppv.

You are complaining about the people complaining.

I don't understand people complaining about Pun vs Bryan happening again either.

I mean I agree, that overdoing a feud isn't healthy when you have let's say Big Show vs Mark Henry. Because in that situation, you're going to see everything they can do with each other in one or 2 matches (although in fairness to both, they did well with their feud last year).
But with Punk vs Bryan, they're 2 of the best in the ring that WWE have. Hell, they're 2 of the best in the world. You can watch them going at it 4 or 5 times in consecutive ppv's and it'll be damn interesting.

Are there parts about WWE that I don't like? Sure. But overall from what I see when I watch RAW, Smackdown or a PPV and then come on here it looks like I watched a totally different show than the people on here. I think most need to set aside their hopes for what they want WWE to be and enjoy what it is. If not, then change the channel or go to youtube and watch some of the old matches and live in the past.

I have to say I did watch Raw last night and actually it was a pretty good show I only fast foward the John Cena promo but stopped it at Chris Jerichos return Quote Cena "Ladies and Gentleman its Chris Jericho" Fucken kiss ass. The opening show was great I mean yeah Punk vs Bryan is to much but Hey! at least Punk is giving us Long Rivalries that will go on his legendary career not like Cena's boring ass. But I do have to say Yesterdays Raw was a good show and the best part was a real Wrestling Entertainer cutting off Cena and Big Show choking his untalented ass out

The problem is that these matches are predictable, no suprise we all ready know that Cena will face Punk at Summerslam then why would D Bryan win it?

06-26-2012, 03:10 PM
Yea WWE has become too predictable, I knew Cenas announcement as soon as i saw the tweet but i digress.. Punk/Daniel yes 2 of the best on the roster but do they need to be the main event every week, every PPV since wrestlemania ? Fans are always gonna complain, you can't please everyone. I hate cena so i'll never be pleased, since Cena will win MITB and cash in at Summerslam

No. WWE complain about ROH, ROH complains about TNA, and TNA complains about WWE. It's the trifecta :D

TNA and ROH fans will never admit to that. What they do is "review the other product". WWE fans bitch. Don't you know that already? Geeeez....

There would be less complaining if they didn't wrestle each other every other week.

...but I'm not complaining.

Interesting thread title. Is the OP trying to single out fans of WWE as the only people who complain or suggesting that WWE fans are the only kind of fans out there?

What's wrong with just saying "Fans"?

It's as bad as saying "anyone who votes for..." or "anyone who drives a....". Broad generalisations just get you laughed at by people who are, quite obviously, smarter and better than you. Not saying YOU, just people who like to talk that way

They're the only wrestling fans I'm really familiar with. I don't know what TNA, ROH, Chikara, New Japan, etc. fans are like. They could be just as bad.

And of course I didn't mean ALL WWE fans, but that just happened to be who I was talking about. Maybe I should've said "some".

Anyone who says they are predictable are looking at this from the viewpoint of an adult. I work with little kids and they love to watch WWE. Any time I mention something to them about a story or a wrestler they seem oblivious to it. They watch for the catch phrases, the good guys vs the bad guys, and yes even the pretty girls. The stories are irrelevant to them. I'm sure if you look back at some of the storylines from the 80's and 90's they'd be a lot more predictable to you now than when you watched them then.

People will complain regardless of what happens even if they got exactly what they want the would knitpick.
