Vickie and John Cena

This has been on my mind the last couple days. I thought that Vickie was very toned down this week at RAW. When she came out to interrupt Jericho and Cena, I felt she was less heel and more business like. She made her comment about talking to the board and decided what the MITB stipulations would be. Cena then made a remark towards Vickie about her having to go to the board to make a decision. Was I the only one that felt this was a rather mean attitude that Cena had towards Vickie? It didn't come off as snarky like so many other comments of his have been towards her or Jericho or Big Show or Johnny Ace. I'm not sure if it was what I wanted to hear, was done on purpose or just my imagination.

Cena is often mean to Vickie, I don't know if there is any real life issue there but he usually comes off as irritated by her. I think Vickie did a great job as GM and I'd be happy for her to stay GM so long as she remained fair(ish) and doesn't get too involved instorylines like she did during her stint as Smackdown GM.

Well as far as what I have heard, Vince often does things to Vickie in a attempt to get her to leave the company so he isnt responsible for her and her family any longer. What better way to help instigate her leaving than having the puppet boy himself throw gas on the fire. Thats why I think Cena is overly aggresive towards here.

Cena has always been pretty snarky, He is even somewhat like that in person. It isn't as mean spirited as he is on TV, but he has always seemed like the schedule is just burning him out. I also think that came across when he dealt with Vickie.

When it is 100 out and don't want to go outside, we will look for anything. Besides, sometimes, there could be something there. It is fun to speculate about it.

Vickie wasn't really playing a heel GM either. More of a Tweener this run as GM. It was kind of enjoyable. And glad she just didn't hand Dolph a title shot. Made him fight for it. (Even if it did end up in a draw.)

Much rather jump Cena the character, than Cena the person. Cena the person is a bit touchy, but overall a really nice guy. Cena the character is overrated, and somewhat arrogant.

Either way, while I think there was actually something there, it was more showing burnout, rather than just being straight up mean at Vickie.

That's a good thing. That's the one major complaint I have with Cena promos. To be fair though the Star Wars one I thought was amazing.

If you go back and look at what she was doing on the show, she really didn't show heel qualities during the show. Except when she yelled "Excuse Me" to the crowd. That was it. She at best could be described as a Tweener during RAW.

But it's Vickie Guerrero. No matter what she does she draws heat and can be heel-ish. During the Bikini Battle Royal she was being a bit heel-ish.

Heel-ish works fine in this case. But she definitely wasn't being a straight heel, this time. Definitely not when it came to Jericho and Cena.

I wasn't trying to hate on Cena. While I can't stand his in-ring skills, I usually look forward to him on the mic. He is funny. I just thought that one time kind of came off as mean spirited. Like I said, it could've just been me.
