I was not impressed. He did absolutely nothing, but being destroyed by the other team. after 8 minutes I was asking myself "Am I watching John Cena ? ". This match was totaly awful. I don't like beat down match, which are useless imo. I hope Chavo is not going to continue with this attitude because I will start fast forward his matches.....

Add to that, the referee's idiotic attitude (see my thread about referees...) who is not concerned about Kash & Gunner, making Tags. He did not saw 2 tags but hey... they're heel so it's not a problem.... ridiculous.

2/10 Boring

Your thoughts ?

Well to be honest, I've never really been impressed with Chavo. Nothing against him really, but I see a lot of time he tries to bite off of Eddie's wrestling style. I was really hoping he would have his own style when arriving to TNA. As far as the referees go heels always get the upper hand with them.

I wasn't expecting a stellar match to begin with and sure enough.

Still bummed I had to miss the PPV last night. From what I hear it is a good one.

With that being said, I almost don't mind him being stuck in the mid-card putting over mediocre matches. As long as he is working with the other talent and not being forced into the spotlight I am cool with it.

I will have something more productive to say after I see the match.

The match served one purpose. To get Chavo over with the fans. The best way to do that is to put him in a situation where he can make that comeback that gets the crowd going. Hernandez went in there, cleaned house, showed off some athleticism, then Chavo did the frogsplash and the crowd went nuts. That's all.

People always want to compare Chavo to Eddie for many reasons.... and some reasons I agree, of course he has incorporated many of Eddie's move.... But what 2nd Generation or family wrestling don't copy or do a move made famous by another family member???

It served it purpose the match did, nothing impressing yet... but give Chavo time as he wrestles more in TNA...
