Ok ever since I was about 7 years old I've always had a match in my head that I've wanted to see.
My dream match is an elimination match, featuring every single famous pro wrestler alive right now. People who physically can't wrestle like Kamala and Dynamite Kid are excused, but guys of decent health like Bruno Samartino are in.
It's a total hypothetical situation; so I don't want to see any "this would never happen!" comments of anything of that nature.
Imagine, just for one minute that there could be an elimination match, featuring a ring 4 times the size of a current WWE ring. Everyone from Nick Bockwinckle, Bob Backland; Antonio Anoki to Zema Ion, Shannon moore and Jamie Noble. This match has to involve everyone. Doesn't matter if you're on-top of your game like CM Punk, about to break out like Ryback or beaten up and retired like Hogan and Bret Hart. This match has to involve everyone.
Eliminations are via pinfall and submission only, no count outs, but you can be DQ'd.
Entrants will be at random and somone will enter the ring every minute. No time limits, but I'm looking to make the match roughly 2 hours long.
Doesn't matter if you're signed to WWE, TNA NJPW, AAA, ROH or a former WCW, NWA, AWA or ECW star, if you can walk to the ring without a zimmer frame then you're in the match.
The question I want to know is how would you book this match?
Would you have a legend like Hogan or Undertaker win and cement their legacy as dominating the industry? Would you have Cena win solidifying him a today's #1 draw? Or have someone like Seth Rollins win and have them thrusted into the wrestling universe's attention?
I'm really interested to see how people would handle this, as it's something I've thought about for a long time :)
