View Full Version : Being fired just doesn't work anymore!

Way before last night, when Cena was "fired" I have been giving thought to these stipulations of being fired, not having a title shot and so forth. These stipulations (specially the one where the loser gets fired) just doesn't not have any impact anymore. We saw Tara get fired a few months ago, only to see her come back. Jericho I believe lost consecutive matches where that he was supposed to get fired, only to appear the next night AND wrestle.

I say that unless you make good on retiring like HBK has done, don't do these matches. If you are going to do them, have them out of the company for a substantial amount of time, longer than a few weeks or a month.

My point is, special stipulations aren't meaningful anymore. Who's with me?

Do you think Cena will come back heel?

Nope. All though I wouldn't mind him coming back today if he turned heel.

problem is, even if they dont come back, they only switch brands and stay there instead only to come back again in the next draft.

i completley agree. its also really annoying when they make it too damn obvious which way the match will go but picking a certain stipulation

WWE isn't bothering in creating smart angles for intelligent adults, they are aiming for kids. I don't even watch it anymore.

It has gotten a lot better ever since Barrett, Bryan and Kaval arrived.

A bit too harsh. Many have suggested he returns with a mask. Throw in a good move set and maybe we have a "new" wrestler.

Harsh maybe, but I can still dream!

So he puts a mask on and learns how to do a belly-to-belly suplex?

I havent seen Legendary, but surely, the scenes where he "teaches" that little dude must have been quite short? "This one's called the AA! I set them up as if it's gonna be an awesome Fall Away Slam/SOS, then let you down. I used to call it the FU but I don't want my fans repeating it to their parents."

Im pretty sure Legendary is a comedy, I might see it.

What could be funnier than Cena teaching a kid amateur wrestling!

kids will buy into bcos they dont no better must of us have seen it all b4 so thats y nothin shocks anymore i think it would be good for wrestling if they removed the 90 day no compete clause at least that way there'd be a chance of shock if someone appeared on tna from wwe the next week or something only thing that gets me these days is the rumble when rvd appeared n ppl like that i'd rather they do that 4 one night than pete rose or some pointless ppl imagine if jus for the rumble booker n nash n a few unexcepted ppl entered
the firing thing has been done so many times in like once every 3 months

He is capable of doing that. Then he would folllow up with: "To set the record straight, I never reported this..."

Or when confronted by the people he steals from, his classic line of "We must have the same sources"

If someone is going to get fired or suspended, they could at least do it for something other than losing a match. Back when Nexus was randomly beating down people, and the GM was warning that anyone interfered with a certain match or just touched a Nexus member would get suspended, it would have been cool if someone had actually gotten themselves suspended because they got pissed off at Nexus attacking someone (like when Michael Hayes, Jimmy Snooka, et al got attacked in the center of the ring), and ran out anyway and interfered.

Instead of dressing up Cena and repackaging him with different move sets, why not hire a random guy put a mask on him and give him the exact same 5 moves as Cena. Even give him a title shot and make him win? Oye Hijo!!!

el Gabo just so you know Tara was fired because she was legit leaving TNA until they worked out a compromise on a new contract so that explains why she was "fired" and then returned so quickly.

*Legit leaving as reported on here so don't take my word for that :P

There's some truth to that.

First read that on a reputable site.

The Marine was ok, not entirely a *Expletive* movie. Give the man a chance as he is not the tooth fairy!

Care to inbox me? This site is ok but after using it for a few years you begin to notice a lot of things being posted that turn out to be assumptions or guesswork.
Though, the first site i used was Lordsofpain, so i'll stop moaning about this one lol
