So last night on Impact Wrestling: Championship Thursday, Hulk Hogan was going to choose who was going to face Jeff Hardy for the TNA World title as the main event. He picked Angle as the one who would face Hardy for the TNA World title and pulled James Storm to the side telling him that he has something "big" planned for Storm in the future or something along those lines.

What could this mean? Where do you see this leading to?

It's hard to tell what this could mean but hopefully this gives James Storm another major storyline to be involved in and eventually leads to him getting a shot at the TNA World title. This may have something to do with the Aces and Eights storyline but I have my doubts.

I'm thinking he will put him in charge of some kind of team to face aces and eights at turning point

I think Hogan is a douchebag and has no idea what he is talking about honestly

maybe put in some stupid storyline and make him even wait longer to be TNA World Champion again.

he just told for the sake of telling. I wish AA n JH will feud till turning point...after that probably Roode will go after Jeff n will have a solid feud with JH either Roode will beat Hardy n then feud with Storm n in the meanwhile Storm will have a dream feud with AA...or just add Storm into Roode/Hardy feud...

This would be quite interesting if they did it as an angle.

if he is in his own singles match he can't be in charge of a team to face aces and eights at the same ppv

I thought this was about James Storm? Aces & Eights are invading threads now evidently.

OT: I hope it is an actual storyline and not just a BS reason to give Angle the match.

This is just common knowledge.

Im glad to see Angle getting another title shot, (this is said really sarcastically in my head)

I love Hardy and Angle but those two need to leave the title picture alone, TNA take one step forward by giving the title to AA and the two steps back having the next PPV head lined by those two.

James Storm reminds me of Steve Austin sometimes. That's why he is currently my number 1 favorite wrestler.

He actually reminds me of Shawn Michaels. Not just with the long hair and super kick finisher, but in his face. Kinda looks like him a little bit.

I don't think, besides the long hair and the super kick, James Storm has anything common with HBK.I know he grow up watching HBK wrestle and that HBK is his favorite wrestler but i can't find anything similar between those two wrestlers(except what you already mentioned)

I call a RussoSwerve (I know, I know, he's not in TNA anymore but still) and Storm turns out to be the leader of A&8's. He becomes the face of the faction ala Hogan in the NWO and it leads to him being TNA champ again. #BookIt

It´s probably just an audible from Hogan.
Probably just a way for him to bullshit his way out of that segment.
It didn´t look like that line was planned, because the camera ignored the Hogan-Storm conversation and went right through them to follow Angle to the entrance steps.

I have frequently noted the theory of Storm being A/8 leader and the beatdown shown to "prove" he wasn't--which nearly everyone seemed to buy into though should know better, being this is wrestling--can be exposed in storyline as a work. Also gives Roode something to do (w/o necessarily turning), as he can be very obnoxious doing an "I told you so!' angle out of this. Otherwise, at the moment, Bobby doesn't have many worthwhile places to go.

(Not saying the above like "You copied me," more like "You too must be a genius, since you agree with my theory." LOL)

NWA World Heavyweight title is vacant, maybe Storm will have something in-line with that? On a side note, has that title had much spotlight since NWA withdrew its association with TNA?

I can smell, that James Storm will be pinned at Turning Point so he won't be able to have a World Title shot until BFG 2013

I'm no real expert on these things, but from I can find out TNA and NWA went their separate ways in 2007, which is when TNA introduced their own titles to replace the NWA ones and NWA had a four-month tournament to pick a new champion. It's been defended in ROH and some other promos, but I believe you're right about it being currently vacant; Wikipedia says that "previous champion Adam Pearce (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adam_Pearce) stepped down as the champion in Melbourne, Australia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Melbourne,_Australia) on October 27, 2012, after the NWA decided not to allow Pearce to put the title on the line in a deciding match in a Best of Seven Series against Colt Cabana (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Colt_Cabana)."
