Back again folks with the first match-up of the final 4. Sorry for not doing this earlier, but I got wrapped up in first passing out after a long day, and then decorating my house for the holiday season (gotta love that Christmas spirit :D). Anyway, here we got Bret Hart, who is the best there is, was, and ever will be, BUT is he better than the Rabid Wolverine Chris Benoit? We'll find out for sure with this one. For me, this one is tough, as my heart (no pun intended) is telling me Hitman (for a couple reasons) but my head is telling me Benoit. Taking the emotions out of it and looking at things impartially, my vote goes to Benoit.
But what do you guys think? I'd like to remind everyone again that, while I can't tell you how to vote, I can encourage everyone to do as I do, and vote with your head and not your heart. Remember, this is not about who you like more as a person, it's about who you like more as a technical wrestler. BTW, I will be extending the voting period back to three days, as I want as many votes on the semi-finals and the finals as possible.
These guys did have a few matches together in WCW, so I will be posting the one they had for the World Heavyweight Championship back in '99. **SPOLIER** Sans interference, this match was actually really good. The crowd was into it (match was in Toronto) and these guys really showed each other what they had. The Hitman won, but he begged Bischoff to put the strap on Benoit instead. Goes to show you what type of guy Bret was.
