Hello everyone in EWN. As some of you know, I was in an argument with 316CenaFan about Cena's wrestling skill, but he gave me popularity. Ok I can dig with that. But then I remembered that Hulk Hogan was that popular too in the past.
A test of Cena's wrestling skill would be facing The Great Muta. I know Hulk Hogan had enough guts to step in the ring with a Japanese great like The Great Muta.
So Hulk Hogan fans and Keiji fans, enjoy this battle between this WWF Heavyweight Champion vs IWGP Heavyweight Champion match.

If Cena faces Muta in a wrestling match and actually wrestles, then Cena would get a bit more respect.

I feel the same way but after watching that, I never thought Hogan would go like that.

Muta, legendary as he is, still has his skills! 46 and still wrestles like he did here.

Lol nice! But my point was at the top of the vids.
Hogan wrestled Muta. If Cena wrestled Muta, he would be schooled.

I didn't know Hogan can be like that on the mat! I swear when I saw that I was like "93 shouldn't have computer animations as good as this."
That was Hogan actually wrestling!
I thought Hogan would hulk up but that didn't happen or the right hand, irish whip, boot and leg drop.

And 1993 was pre UFC so that Arm Breaker wasn't so well known!

I was two years old when this match happened. I saw the whole thing today and I was impressed by Hogan and Muta. If Hogan wrestled like that in the WWE, he would have gotten so much respect.

Before Hulk was the main man in the WWF he was the main man in Japan. In fact he was the first IWGP heavyweight champion!
Obviously his style had to be a lot more wrestling based over there as thats what fans expect. In America he got over through his look and charisma. He had no need to go at the pace demanded of wrestler's in Japan. Signature moves and routines were/are the order of the day in Vinnie Land. What most fail to realise is psychology is the hardest aspect of wrestling and No-One is/was better than The Hulkster when it comes to toying with the crowds emotions. Though it would have been nice to see the WWF Hulk occasionally use the style he used in NJPW, but then again, why would he?
Cena's in-ring problem's wouldn't/couldn't be solved by having a match or two with Muto (or someone of the same caliber), although it would be fun watching SuperCena trying to keep up the pace! Cena's problem is the same as most of the current roster. They lack the nessissary experience that is gained by traveling the world. Most of Cena's time before WWE was spent in California and Ohio, not exactly hotbeds for great pure wrestling are they! Hogan wrestled in Japan for years before landing the sweetest gig in wrestling (Vinnies Top Dog), which is something that is sorley lacking in 90% of WWE's new signing's.
Like Mr Bollea, Big John has no need to perform a plethora of Puro inspired moves in the WWE. The difference between Hulk and John is Hulk, if needed, could actually do them!

Holy shit, just when you think the thread title might actually be on the money, it turns out to be another Cena bashing thread. Well done guys, it's totally taken the shine off this gem. Can we, maybe, just for once, have a thread that doesn't even mention Cena? Go on - I dare you

When you think about it, this is probably the biggest problem with most of the card. Bryan, Mysterio, Jericho, Punk, Eddie, and Benoit, all some of my favorite all time wrestlers, spent a lot of time working in foreign countries. Working solely here in the U.S., while producing some amazing talents and a lot of respectable ones, don't add the variety that I love to see out of the listed wrestlers.

Iv already had Danielson fulfill my wish of having someone spit in Cena's face.
Only reason I'd want a Muta vs Cena match.

The sad thing is, both of these Ultra Talented men would be WWE mid-carders at best!

Hell no....I would like for these guys to be legends in Japan.
Though I would like for at least Nagata to be in the WWE. That face(his almost crapping face) would sell.

Sorry to be negative dude!
I'd love to see either one of these two in WWE, but with their track record in pushing Japanese talent recently, it's hard to imagine WWE getting behind non-English speaking performers. What Yoshi Tatsu has done to deserve his complete and utter cold shoulder treatment, is a question who's answer escapes me.
Also, I'm still feeling a bit pissed after Tanahashi's horrible run in TNA.
Out of the two, who do you reckon would do the best in VinnieLand?
