A-Rod Major Rumble Botch????

Okay so I've re-watched the rumble just because something the Miz said in commentary bugged me. Around the time when Ezekiel Jackson was making his entrance, the Miz was rambling about how A-Rod was being really smart, to which the King replied: "Where is Riley??"... Where was he??? He was never announced as being eliminated and just seemed to disappear. Next time you see him is when he runs down to distract Cena FROM THE STAGE. So what happened????

After a few replays, I SWEAR he slipped by accident from the edge of the ring and was inadvertently eliminated. It was around the time the Big Show tossed Ziggler out and Ezekiel was coming down to the ring.

So, was this a botch elimination or am I just seeing things?

Seriously though, I haven't the patience to watch again. My initial thought was that he was eliminated off camera (as were a few others, off the top of my head, Chris Masters was eliminated while the camera was on something else). But it could well have been a botch elimination for all I know.

The WWE works in mysterious ways. We can only hope that was the original plan. If what we saw was scripted, it is going to need some storyline work.

yeh we noticed that (myself n my uncle)! ive watched the rumble match like 2 n half times, mainly for the regal introduction n the booker pop! thought it was pretty gd apart frm the cena thn hornswoggle part. u can see cena and the miz on commentary continuously getting instructions from the refs. a lil' rewrite for the riley-cena-miz elimination spot.

Alex Riley seemed to be eliminated in error. Cena and Kofi looked at each other. It look like he slipped. Once he was gone, Charles Robinson and one other ref conferred. So one ran to the back. He came back three minutes later right to Miz, who removed his headphones and was told by two refs what he was to do, almost as panic set in.

Yeah I saw him go and thought it wasn't supposed to happen that way and then later Miz says something to the effect of A-Ry still being in there when he clearly wasn't. I think Miz improvised the Cena elimination, Cole probably passed him a note sent from the Gorilla position telling him what was going on. Looks like they might be pushing the Miz/Cena feud again and Cena will be hogging the main event again for awhile

Striker knows all the moves. Rightfully calling Orton's rope DDT the Suspension DDT, for example. I'm convinced the WWE doesn't give a shit if moves are called right as long as all of Cena's are.
