Whats Tyler Reks gimmick? A caveman?

I've never really heard much about him and the one time he did he came across as a surfer when he teamed with yoshi tatsu
But the dreadlocks and beard give him a caveman look, and yes I know cavemen probably didnt have dreadlocks
furthermore the name recks, sounds like the end of a dinasour furthering the caveman image

Don't know what the gimmick is if he's a monster he's not coming across as a very good one. I mean I do like the guy, I think he looks potentially like he could do some business but what the hell WWE think they're doing with him I don't know

I think his gimmick is a monster heel that doesn't really talk much, he lets his actions speak in the ring. This gimmick is similar to Mike Knox's gimmick.

I totally agree with all of you. Though, there is something about the guy. I remember when Christian won his IC title and showed up with a new haircut and what have you. Tyler could make a name by being a monster and go forward by selling out and cleaning up. Could happen.

1)actually i'm pretty sure cavemen did have locks considering when you don't bother you're hair by combing or washing that's what happens and 2) i don't think he has a gimmick (which sucks cause he's really talented and has a great and unique look) they've always just reffered to him as a mystery

Regardless of appearance , has anyone ever spotted the next superstar before they broke out? ^ never saw one of the Hart Foundation or Rockers becoming legends. JOHNNY Nitro........really? Cena, Punk etc. I'm just saying you never know who is going to do what. Personally I like his look. Matches his build and style. Mike Knox tried to be Bruiser Brody. Tyler is just doing whats natural to him IMO

He needs to be more specific and deliberate. Monsters tend to become HHH. Same 5 moves because the character is set in a pre boxed style. If hes smart he'll start calling spots for him during match to show off even if he loses. Like JoMo.

At one time around Bragging Rights, I created a thread praising this guy basically. Now Im not so sure what to think of Reks. Off & on winning & losing to Chris Masters on SuperStars for months is not exactly memorable or very marketable. Barbarian if anything, seems to be his gimmick.
