View Full Version : Honky Tonk Man claims Hogan is leaving TNA!

"HTM has been told Hogan will bolt to WWE if asked. Sources within TNA have said Hogan will leave (Eric Bischoff) behind like a rat. Hogan is on his way out of TNA. Dixie has had to advance Flair money to pay his debts. Strange things are happening at TNA! Hogan's TNA contract is results and incentive based. Either party can walk anytime. HTM said it first Hogan is on the way out."
Now i know we have no reason what so ever to believe this, but if it is true then surely this must confirm all our theories that Hogan really is just in it for the money despite ranting on about how he loves TNA.

Interesting... I can't see where wwe would benefit from his return though tbh.

Me neither, good news for TNA fans though. Bet Bischoff is in his bedroom crying listening to classic love songs while looking at pictures of Hulk

The worst thing that the WWE could do is bring Hogan in for another miserable run... AGAIN. Whether it be wrestling, which I 100% highly doubt, or whether it be either an on air personality or behind the scenes.

If Hogan does leave TNA, I doubt it'll be to go back to WWE. If this is true, maybe he realized he can no longer continue in the Wrestling Business and retire.

WWE doesn't need Hogan in my opinion, but I'm sure Mcmahon will find a way to make money out of him.

If he returned to the WWE then they would just use him for the nostalgia. Lol~ I think I said the same thing in another thread.

Now WWE doesn't have to hide the things Hogan did for Wrestlemaina anymore.
Absolutely PERFECT!

He could make more $ by making WWE appearances than being in TNA. I wish Vince would just give him a lump some and say 'Here's $10 million. I OWN YOU TIL YOU DIE. Sign here. Now go home and sit down.' just pay him to leave and stop.

Hogan is only good for a surprise apperance to get a cheap pop, nothing more... i dont want to see him for more than that in the WWE. maybe a match with iron sheik because that is tho only guy he can hang with now. haha

I can see Hogan doing Royal Rumble returns and stuff like that but thats it. He should just retire from the business.

No, my dad used to listen to a song with a similar name from Buddy Holly.

Hogan should just stick to making those rent-a-center commercials and stay away from wrestling in general brothers.

I remember Hogan having a successful run in WWE back when he feuded with The Rock. He was brought in as Hollywood Hogan reforming the NWO with Hall and Nash, but the culmination which was his match against The Rock as Icon vs. Icon came off amazing.
Hogan's time in TNA has consisted of Hogan having back surgeries, limping to the ring painfully, or otherwise being out with injuries. Hogan can not keep up the mystique that is Hulkamania if he can not perform as a wrestler.
I think the difference is that TNA simply doesn't know how to properly use legends. Look at the difference between WWE's Hogan and TNA's Hogan. Or look at Ric Flair. In WWE, Flair was treated like the legend he is. But in TNA he has become a joke where he gets stripped of his clothes and humiliated in matches.
I just think that Hulk Hogan's name becomes devalued the more he continues on-air as a broken, old persona who can no longer wrestle in great matches. Hogan in TNA is overexposed. Just look at what the WWE is doing with The Rock. They are withholding his appearances until Wrestlemania. They tease us, which in turn gives it more value when the Rock DOES show up. And when the Rock does arrive, he says something of value. His promos and his actions have an actual impact. I can not for the life of me fucking differentiate one promo that Hogan has done now than one he has done months ago for TNA. Because what he says holds no value. Its all "BROTHER!" and "WHATCHUGONNA DO!". But his appearances or promos themselves hold no value. Like I said, TNA doesn't know how to properly promote its legends. When Hogan leaves, TNA will be better for it.

Maybe he could be brought in for one last time..like how they do with legends year after year. It could bump up the ratings, since many WWE fans don't watch TNA, and thus would think that Hogan hasn't stepped foot in a ring in years.

LMAO there's no way hogan could take a clothesline over the top rope anymore
i'd love to see random NWO segments apa style back stage with hogan hall and nash talking about taking over again and the nexus walk passed and laugh

No more hogan in wwe, vince has cena rock and miz to worry about. They make more than enough money, wrestling will be a better place when that scumbag isn't allowed to pop into frame anymore. The man jumps the fence to whoever throws him the biggest treat and wwe bringing him in will only let the twitter comments fly more. The best thing Hogan can do is sit on whatever amount of money he has, open up a small time wrestling gym, make another reality show, and stay the fuck out of any televised ring.

No he meant The Day The Music Died
That'll be the Day was a song co-written by Buddy Holly in 1956 and released in 1957.
It was also re-recorded by The Quarrymen (who later went on to become The Beatles).
Incidentally, The Day the Music Died was a lyric from the Don McClean song 'American Pie', which was written for Buddy Holly, JP 'The Big Bopper' Richardson & Ritchie Valens - all of whom died in a plane crash Feb 3rd 1959. All were big chart toppers at the time, hence the lyric 'The day the music died'.....

Legendary WWE Intercontinental Champion The Honky Tonk Man tweeted about changes coming to TNA's upper management structure. Honky intends to release such information on his next Podcast, to be released Monday.
"Don’t miss Shake, Rattle & Roll this Monday night fans! We have huge breaking news about upper management changes in TNA."
Is he either asking for viewers or actually telling the truth

The difference is WWE would not let Hulk call his own shots. Hulk left to his own devices does not care what is good for the company he's working for, he cares about making Hulk money and getting Hulk over to hell with everything else. WWE would use his name and media attention and not let him screw up the company.
