Should Sting Still be Champion?

Let me first say I have much respect for Sting and this is no way a bash on him.

Obviously much criticism has gone into TNA/IW and the use of their "older" wrestlers. Sting is up there in age without a doubt and over his long career has gained many passionate fans. My questions that I would like to open for the discussion are:

Does Sting really need to World Heavyweight Championship? The man has done tons for the business and I feel at this age, the belt does not do anything more for him. Also, should a company that is now promoting themselves as a wrestling company have their top belt on an older talent, legend nonetheless, whose best days are unfortunately behind him?

Sting should drop the belt and play an Undertaker type role. The legend who isn't there all the time, comes in for big matches, and puts over a deserving young guy every now and then. A title is a way to get a guy over, Sting has been over for the last 20 plus years, he doesn't need it.

At this point of his career, he doesn't need to be. He is helping to build up Anderson, so yes. Other than that no, there is no pay off.

I am not sure it should go to anderson but sting needs drop it soon. Angle will be leaving for awhile in time and they need to eastablish other faces I know sting is super over and rightfully so but guys like aj and roode need to move up

I don't think Sting should be the champ because I think it just doesn't catch the casual viewer's eye really I think. Sting as champ isn't exciting. If they made someone like Matt Morgan or Dinero or Styles (etc.) champ it might draw viewers in to see who the guy they have as champ is.

I actually like Sting as champ. I like that there are so many good wrestlers in TNA that would look good as the champ. I think Sting should give the title up in the 2nd from next PPV. He has been a good fighting champ. Anderson and Sting have feuded really well. Plus who beats sting next will be a great thing for them.
