Who here hates Mark Henry? If so ... why?

A lot of my friends watch wrestling and almost all of them can't stand Mark Henry. I've always been a fan of the world's strongest man. Especially as a heel. I was so happy when they turned him heel at the Draft. Since then, he has been a force to be reckon with. Is he one of the best wrestlers in the world? Nope, but he sure is one of the strongest and knows how to work his big man role.

What are your thoughts on Henry?

I think mark henry and I would get along, I like sandwitches and I bet he does too. If they ever used him right he could be somebody, the thing that hurts him is 15 years of being the stepping stone. I have always felt people sometimes put too much emphasis on winning and loosing, in this case its kinda warranted. I don't hate henry, just hate seeing big guys stand around, when guys like tyson kidd,ted jr and ryder can barely get on tv. If you gonna be a big guy do lots of big impact power moves, not just big slaps and sidewalk slams

I'm indifferent towards Henry. He's been there and that's all. I'll always remember him as being the father of a hand... I could never see him as credible since then unfortunately.

Not really fair to say that. He won the ECW Championship, and had a good run with it. I know nobody cares about that title, but it's a title all the same.
I'm liking his recent heel turn. He was a joke as the kool-aid man on RAW in his all red bodysuit. Mark Henry back as the silverback, destroying the likes of Show and Kane (those world's strongest slams through the tables were HUGE, especially the one on Show at CP), is the Mark Henry I want to see.
I think he deserves a short WH title reign.

What I can't understand is how Mark Henry has been able to survive all the cuts over the years! He has been around for many years and has never been a main event player. Most of the time he just jobs to established wrestlers, many who came years after he arrived. He had maybe 3 credible storylines over the many years he has been working for Vince. His most successful tenure has been during his "sexual chocolate" persona but that was more than a decade ago and even then he was a lower mid card wrestler. He had many instances when it seemed like he had vanished from WWF/E because the writers just had nothing for him. Nothing against the man, but how is still employed by Vince after letting go of so many wrestlers with potential?

He has no movement, and no mic skills. He has no power move: he just lifts a guy and falls on him. Now I get that can be legit deadly, but it's hardly spectacular.

Ik like his heel turn though, angry big dude fits him better than standing around smiling big dude.

And I think it's good he's around. Smaller guy beating bigger guy is always a way to get a guy over, and Henry jobs when asked to. He's a modern day Brooklyn Brawler, and that's nothing to be ashamed of, because they're vital in the business.

i've never liked him. extremely boring character and can't move around the ring very well at all. most of the time, it looks like he's not even trying. And his size is no excuse. Plenty of other monster heels do a lot better.

I like Mark Henry. Hes strong and looks like a legit monster heel. Although he isn't good in the ring, what monster heel isn't these days? So far, i'm enjoying his heel work.

That's the understatement of the century. Mark Henry is one of, if not THE legit strongest guy in WWE.

I have always disliked him {except for the whole Mae Young thing}..... he is slow, unimpressive,boring, and there isnt much you can do with a guy like that.... the only thing that will make him cool in my eye is if they turn him back into the comic relief..... You lost all credibility with this comment.. Im not gonna jump on the I like or dislike train of the topic.. But to say that Henry isnt strong to this day, I mean literally the man that was titled "The Worlds Strongest Man" waaaaaay before his WWE career.. He is hands down the strongest man in the WWE, no one is throwing Big Show like he does.. And you used a botched move with Swagger as an excuse?? Your ideology is on par with a salted peanut, either that or you're 13 years old..

I like Mark Henry as a heel, he has that impressive look that always makes him look like a threat to anyone. He's at the point in his career where it wouldn't be shocking if he won the World title as long as it's in a storyline. If he had a manager he would be a mainstay in the Main Event scene. I say Teddy Long as his manager, reform Thuggin & Buggin Enterprises

A bad example. Didn't you watch Capitol Punishment? He picked up Big Show like he weighed nothing and gave him a HUGE WSS through the table! He did the same on RAW last night! If that's not strong, then I can only say....
