View Full Version : The REAL sting heel!

I think turning Sting into a heel right now would be interesting? Actually, HAS STING EVER BEEN A HEEL??? Ok, we know this. Sting obviously has become a lot more dilerious and almost chaotic in the past month. All in an effort to bring back the "Real Hulk Hogan". Well, WHAT IF, Sting does succeed in bringing back the real hulk hogan (we know this also because hogan let that cat out of the bag). But at the same time, takes him to a place of no return. Now with the red and yellow colors flying again, Hogan has to face a new enemy. One he and TNA never saw coming: The real Sting heel.
It would also be cool to see tna give him some cronnies to help him cause chaos everywhere. Maybe Krimson (I know, I know wishful thinking), and maybe someone else.
My suggestion to tna. Here is your chance to run with the ball with Sting. Go full throttle. If your gonna change him, then REALLY change him. I know I would tune in to see that. Nobody wants to see boring face Hogan and boring face Sting at the same time.
What are your thoughts guys?

Sting was a heel when he was part of the Four Horsemen.
Though I wonder if nWo Red counts as a heel run...

I've read a post saying they would. They clearly didn't see the original Sting Vs Hogan...

I don't count sting's nwo red run as a heel role, because he was still a fan favorite. I'm talking about turning Sting into a REAL heel, as in he overwhelming booed and/or hated by the crowd. I haven't seen him in that role yet.

The problem with turning Sting heel is that the fans tend to never boo him no matter what. In 99, he turned heel twice but still was cheered more than his opponent every week. Heck, in 08/09, he was never even portrayed as a heel as part of MEM.(he was during the Booker T/Joe feud but then turned to somewhat of a tweener.)

I don't think Sting would last long as a heel. Sting like HHH, and now CM Punk, is over with the people watching and even if he turned heel, eventually no matter what he says or does, the fans will love him for it.

We seem to be forgetting Sting's heel turn from last year prior to the formation of Immortal. He was a true heel indeed, attacking and bloodying Hogan, physically threatening Dixie, etc., etc. So we've seen heel Sting. Not too interested in seeing it again.

but was sting REALLY a heel? Or just a man trying to warn us for the invading Hogan and Bischoff? O_o makes you think...........
I don't know if I'd be interested in seeing a heel sting. But I agree it would be better then face sting face Hogan

and when he returned to take out Hogan the First time and Feuded with Jarrett
IMO A Sting Heel Turn would be Confusing and Just wont happen

I dont think Sting could ever be a TRUE Heel, Hes one of those type of guys that will always be a fan favorite.
If it were still the age of Kayfabe it would be more likely but people like Wrestlers based on different reasons than just bad vs good.

Which is EXACTLY why they'll do it. No build up, no story, nada. I guarentee it.

Personally, I thought Sting was the face and Hogan is always a heel in my book.
