not true me and my friend have torn are ACL's we run and play for a local soccer/football team and i torn mine 3 years ago and my friend 4 years so it's not impossible to come back unless you're owen hargreaves!

It doesn't matter who you are, it's hard sometimes to come back from any injury. It all depends on your age, health, body type, and ability to heal faster or slower than others. Look at John Morrison that guy is ripped, and very athletic and after his last injury they expected him back at least over a month ago but he was healing slower than previously thought therefore it took longer to come back. Not saying it's impossible just harder for some than others!
