Exclude if my players are in the wrong position because i've probably forgotten where they usually played
GK - Gordan Banks - DAT SAVE!
RB - Puyol - I'd love him in the premier league
LB - Roberto Carlos - Love his free kick goals
CB - Lescott - Lescott > Any CB in the premier league today
CB - Jaap Stam - 1 of the all time greats
RM - Ronaldinho - The dude can do amazing things
LM - David Beckham - The Greece goal was an amazing goal
CM - Messi - Best midfielder today and best argentine to play, Maradona was a Volleyball player and Ronaldo is a diver like Tom Daley)
CM - Adam Johnson - He can play for City AND England!!! Lampard is only good for Chelsea because Mourinho built Chelsea around him, he can't play for England, when was the last time he scored for England (excluding the german disallowed goal) that wasn't a penalty. Come to think of it, when was the last time Rooney did as well.
FC - Pele - Has to be in everyones list. Best. Player. Ever.
FC - Fat Ronaldo - first tournament I watched was france 98, he was awesome to watch
Subs/honourable mentions:
1 - Schemichal - Can't stand Trafford United but I recognise beautiful saves when I see them
2 - Gareth Barry - Class player
3 - James Milner - Had some really great seasons lately
4 - Aguero - What a striker, he'll need a season to adapt but he'll be amazing
5 - Kompany - Brill captain
6 - De Jong - Really pissed we aren't facing Holland now, England vs. Holland is always great to watch

Defenders don't need to be Usain Bolt. Lescott can score and is a great veteren for man city.

This is a great thread. Mine would be a 3-4-1-2 though ;)
GK- Iker Casillas- greatest goalkeeper in the world today and up there with the best ever.
CB- Paolo Maldini- My personal choice for best defender ever.
CB- Lucas Radebe- Who doesn't love the chief? (Non-LUFC fans dont answer that haha)
CB- Sol Bamba- Only really watched him recently, but in his last year at Hibs he really established himself as one of my favourite defenders.
RM- David Beckham- His goal against Greece will live in my memory forever.
LM- Lionel Messi- Amazing to watch every time.
CM- Zinedine Zidane- My favourite midfielder of all time- my vote for the greatest of all time- even if he is French.
CM- Jonny Howson- Since it's a personal favourite thread- favourite LUFC player at the moment- commands our midfield and is growing all the time.
CAM- Marek Hamsik- One of the real hidden gems- plays for Napoli- getting much more known now, but I've followed him for a few years. The guy can pass, shoot, run with the ball. He is a class act.
STR- Jermaine Beckford- He scored to knock Man U out of the cup, then sent us up. Can be criticised for being inconsisent and lazy but the way he played against Bristol Rovers was one of the greatest performances i've ever seen anybody give in a LUFC shirt.
STL- Gonzalo Higuain- Every time I see him play for Real or Argentina, he has been brilliant. Great to watch and score's goals by the plentyful.
