So I just watched Smackdown and at the end Christian came out and said he had the "best thing going"

What does everyone think he meant by this??
Could it be Edge returning to help.. Someone else coming back to aid Christian??
What does everyone think he meant by this??

Sorry if there's a thread about this already btw.

I'd think it would be an interference of some sort, be it Edge, Brodus Clay or some other new "Tyson Tomko"

I've said for the last week that Edge will show up in the Orton-Christian match so I'll stick with that.

I would love to see Christian team up with Rhodes and Dibiase and form a new alliance. Using Randys former Legacy members to help defeat him would be epic and it should push Rhodes and Dibiase further up the ranks on smackdown

Um I forsee Christian beating Orton plain and straight
and retrieving his honer :")

I still strongly believe Christian will team up with Legacy. It would put a new refreshing twist to his fued with Randy.

Like Christian said, he has the best thing going . . Rhodes and Dibiase have been a force lately and on the same night Rhodes won the ic title

What about Skip Sheffield?!
I kind like the Cody and Ted joining Christian idea tough.
But sooner or later they gonna go against each other anyway

Stable? No, it would suck and it would make Cody and Ted "lackeys" again, but I'd like to see them help Christian this one time, because they want revenge on Randy or something. This will get Orton off of the WHC picture and in a feud with Cody and Ted, making the IC championship as important as it was during the Jericho/Ray feud and perhaps make Rhodes a legitimate ME.

Remember when WWE hinted that an attitude era star was going to be stepping back into the ring by the time the year comes to an end an then they said that persons name had an E in it? It could be Edge or John Bradshaw LayfiEld. Mick FolEy is another great prediction since he has with-held a great interest in coming into the WWE as a manager. If only it were SEan O'hairE.

My Ideas:

Mason Ryan: when he returns he is going into bodyguard role apparently (even though he pretty much was anyway)

Chris Jericho: since orton was the one to take him out (I am alowed to dream right?)

Rhodes & Dibiase: former legacy, but I dont think it will happen since Ted got killed by big zeke while Rhodes just watched so I'm seeing the elusive Ted face turn happening soon

Edge: Coming back to help his friend again, but I don't know how much he can do apart from just stand on the ramp, personally I would say Edge interfere for orton and say that he has lost alot of respect for his best friend and doesnt think he deserves the title, this could set up a face turn for Christian since this heel run is pretty poor IMO

Chris Jericho would be a great choice. I still remember their 2003 tag team together, and Chris Jericho was taken out by Randy Orton. It makes perfect sense. Nice work, The Awesome One!

It would hint mainly to Edge I would think, as he is also at Summerslam Access. But with the WWE you just never know.
It's gonna be interesting to see what goes down Sunday.
It might create a little bit of interest in the match too 'cuz everything is focused on the WWE title match

I'm thinking either Edge comes back for a distraction win, or Mason Ryan or Skip Sheffield comes in for a distraction win with whomever comes on and Christian beating down Orton, maybe Jericho but I'm not relying too heavily on that happening, and I thought Mick Foley wasn't available til like September due to his contractual obligations from TNA?

Either way Christian prolly wins and might put an end to this feud.

That would be too obvious. Maybe they are just throwing us off? They figured if they got Edge involved with other festivities then the Wrestling fans would think, "Oh it's so going to be Edge!" an then when your sitting there on your couch watching the show it ends up being somebody completely different! Another prediction I will have to make is The Undertaker's "American Badass" persona an it could be like Christian brought him back from the darkness an set him free an now he was in his depth an he would gladly repay it. WWE also strangely referred to 'Takers 2003 burial in one of their recent magazines, and 'Taker was also seen sporting a bald look. Ironically, back at Survivor Series '03 'Taker was buried an came back later on as The Deadman. Now he is buried yet again with a lengthy absence (Most likely from injuries, but still). I am expecting with his advancing age they are going to save the guy the trouble of walking all the way to the ring for his matches. VHROOM VHROOM!!

Almost thought I read boner ;)

On topic, indeed Edge is a bit obvious. However, we are talking WWE here and with Edge being at the SS festivities, I also believe he is this 'best thing going'.

I see your point, they probably are just fucking with everybody.
But if they bring someone back it better be someone major. i.e Taker/Edge/Foley
But knowing WWE it will be some guy who jobbed for a while a couple of years ago

Honestly they are all good Choices and logical... but i hope to see Mason Ryan be a body guard type for HHH and Johnny Ace for his feud with Punk.... its gonna be a owner vs Wrestler Feud and i think Mason Ryan would be a good fit.

im hoping also Rhodes and Diabise stick to them self, Cody Rhodes is doing amazing and i hope he takes the IC to heights it hasnt seen in a long while so it will mean something.

Jericho is a great choice, i think he should just cost Orton the match and start their feud and hopfully it will be Dainel Bryan and Chris Jericho for the World title at WM 28..... a rematch from Daniel Bryans Debut.

I was close.

and it looks like Orton and the spanish announce table have finally put their issues aside
